Are there any simple shake n vape recipes out there? Preferably with 1-3 ingredients. I have a bunch of flavours such as: strawberry cream, bavarian cream, sweet cream, french vanilla, cheesecake, cotton candy, cinnamon roll, fuji apple, custard, vanilla custard, sweetener.
Just looking for something simple that i can vape now.
Thanks
You probably don't want to hear this but... you really need to start by taste testing the individual flavors you have and finding what percentages you like them at. This will also give you a pretty good idea of what each flavor's "profile" is like.
@Bill's Magic Vapor has a
good work sheet here that uses straight flavoring and PG (no nicotine solution and no VG) and will take you from 5% to just under 25% (if necessary) in no more than 9 steps.
I tend to like my flavors a little lower so I adapted his method
to this chart which runs from 1% to just over 9% (if necessary) by using a small amount of
pre-diluted amount of flavoring.
Either way, the method is the same; add drops (ALWAYS from the same/same sized dropper/needle) as indicated by the charts to a container, mix, apply the indicated number of drops (3)(again from the same/same sized dropper/needle) to the atomizer of your choice and taste/vape, note what it tastes like, add the next number of drops
to the remaining mix as directed and repeat. Continue until either the flavor begins to diminish or funky notes start to come out (chemically or the like). Then STOP.
The last mix BEFORE the flavor started to go "off" or diminish will give you a pretty good idea of where you want to start with a flavor. IT IS NOT PERFECT. It will vary a bit with the addition of nic and VG and more accurate measuring techniques. But it WILL give you a good idea of where to start.
I know it sounds complicated but it really does go pretty quickly. I can generally "tune in" an new flavor in less than 5 minutes.
It does NOT take into account what aging/steeping might do; but it will give you a good idea of what a shake and vape will be like.
AS others have already said; making good juice takes practice, and most (if not all) will make some pretty bad attempts to begin with, UNTIL they understand the specific flavors they are working with (and how they taste to YOU). Until then, recipes are at best suggestions.
Also, just because the flavor name is the same (between vendors), does not mean the taste is the same! A Capella Vanilla Custard is not the same as a TFA Vanilla Custard, or a Flavour Arts Vanilla Custard. And none of it will taste the same to you as it does to me. BUT if you include a manufacturer name of the flavors you are working with/asking about it might help us point you in the right direction.
Just my two cents worth (and you probably owe me a penny).
I hope you find what works for you!
