Not too bad, I guess. Unless the bottle was sitting there alone for a long time, and possibly in a low temperature environment, it shouldn't be a problem.

Usually bases are made of VG and/or PG, with some water and nicotine added when appropriate; all those liquids have different density to each other, so if left sitting for some time they may tend to stratify according to their density.

This may happen especially with DIY liquids, for at home we normally don't have professional tools for mixing them up appropriately..

Industrial liquids come very well mixed, on the other hand, so it takes much longer for them to stratify - if ever at all.
