Hello everyone, I am a new member, I started with Smoking Everywhere, yes, me too, I was ripped of by them...then, not waste my initial investment, I ordered a starter kit from Az smoke -excellent service.

For me the most annoyng problem with vaping is the battery duration. Reading this excellent forum, I found out that Shanty ego apparently has the best battery available at the moment. Is it really so or are other long lasting batteries available?. Also, if I go for the shanty ego, the starter kit has really everyhing I need or I have to order refill cartridges, liquid etc..

Another question: when atomizers need to be replaced? How we find out that we need new ones?

Thank you in advance to all of you who may help me with your advices!

Hi brunal,

I'm actually waiting for my "Janty" eGo to come in the mail as I type this. I started out with a KR808D-1 with the cartomizer. Yeah, battery life was a definite problem for me as well. I got an average of 2-3 hours per charge, and seeing as how it takes about 4 hours for my batteries to charge I had to with no power at times. Stunk.

You can actually get longer batteries that have a longer life for these smaller e-cigs. It all depends on what you're after. The reason why I chose the eGo was first and foremost the battery life, and the fact that it's gotten so many rave reviews. A lot of vapers here on the forum really like the Janty brand - another reason why I chose the eGo.

There are mods out there - like the silver bullet, etc. that are a bit larger and have even LONGER battery life but the price goes up a bit depending on which mod you choose. This site is an EXCELLENT place to find info though. You can also find reviews of different e-cigs on sites like youtube.

Hope this helped!

Happy vaping!

Oso

:)many thanks to everybody! your advices helped a lot, I am going to order right now my janty. what about the atomizer, how long it will last and can i find out when is dead?

No one "knows" how long a atty will last. Too many factors involved to answer that. Since Janty ships the eGo with only 1, I'd highly recommend ordering more. Better safe than sorry. Any 510 atty will work, just look at the Approved Vendors List for the best price/service.

Also, you'll know when your atty dies because nothing will happen when you draw on your pv.

Good luck. You'll love your eGo :thumb:
