Nice work RiverNut that took some time love the look

Thanks Rob. I think you'll like the feel even more. Give it a test drive when I send it in for the new 510 :)

Kudos, maybe the future of my copper vein after it turns black. I imagine you started with a curved file?

I'm guessing either a Dremel or a drum sander.
Definitely interested in the details and moar pics. :D

yeah, mostly files to remove the bulk, followed by a dremmel, followed by lots of hand sanding. A hand grinder might make quick work of it if you're so skilled.
You can use tape to outline the areas you want to remove material. It's really something anyone can do if you have a little time and patience.
I'll post final pics later in the week :)

Long time old friend, great to see you here River. Great job with the Grand, I like the way you went with this.

Thank you Capt :)
You and a couple other talented and adventurous types here gave me the extra push and inspiration I needed :toast:

I don't know of any other mod so open for personalizing...it's kind of fun.

The creativity of the peeps in Reoville never cease to amaze me...

...we need a calculus wiz who's good with permutation calculations...given the dimensions of an aluminum box and it's function, there must be a way to mathematically express the maximum number of unique modifications that can be inflicted on these poor devices.
