I have small frail hands. I don't use grands. I find mini woodvils to be super ergonomic.

You should totally send me one of yours so I can see if that will help! :D

I do have a sweetvapes wood mini on the way that I got on the reddit classifieds, so I can sort of compare and contrast. And decide just how much to save up for when the mini woodvils go on sale!!!

CAT- I have the new contacts but haven't tried to install them yet. I was thinking that if I decided to swap the Grand I'd let the next person install them since I don't totally feel comfortable doing it - never occurred to me that it might get rid the problem itself! I do have a lot of trouble getting enough force on the button for it to fire.

As for the squonking, I put it in my palm and poke it with my other hand's finger (there *really* is no way to describe squonking without it coming out incredibly dirty, huh?). There isn't any position in which I could do it one handed. (Again, PHRASING!)

For me the new contacts made a world of difference. It's hair trigger easy to fire now, very little pressure needed at all. I never used to bother locking it when putting it in my purse. Now I always do.

I'd give those new contacts a try. It would be a shame to let someone else try them only to find out it could have helped you. Watch a vid or two, then watch the vid a second time and do it along with the vid. I'd watch a step, pause it, do it, then move to the next step and so on. Made it very easy.
