Share your bad vape days

It's happened to everyone, you go to work and you trust your PV and then something happens, battery dies, atty/carto burnt out, no juice, PV fail. You're grumpy all day till you get home and grab your back up. Share those days here, I'm curious what weird problems you guys encounter.

But, what if you are onto the back up of your backup of your back up of your back up to your main PV? That is what I have faced the past 2 days.

I have basically ran out of everything to put on my PVs. The first thing that happened was that I filled up my 2 J tanks with some juice and started vaping, and they both burnt out really early, like a couple hours in. I thought about it and looked at my punch and saw how not sharp it was, and looked it up and realized it sucked. So there's my kicked silver bullet and ego out of the picture. Broke out the eroll and some gandalf/legend(idk it says gandalf) and was doing perfect for a few days. The attys on the eroll had a few weeks of use though. That's when the next day the atty burnt out, and put on the next atty and that was burnt already. Just my thought in my head "Aw... Shi..." I started digging through my vape drawer for anything and found 1 unopened 3 ohm boge carto that was laser cut from electronicstix. I got that running in my 5 ml J tank on the silver bullet kicked. But it'll only last about 4 hours till it dies, and i only have 2 batteries, so that just got me through work. then I had to go out with the girl friend and stayed the night at her house. That's when I brought out the Volt. Found an old used carto and put the gandalf in that, brought the pcc and the bottle and out I go. Except one thing, forgot to charge my PCC. So when I got to my girl friends house I imediately asked her where my old V2 cig was, and the charger for that, and the next whole day I ran out with this set up,


If you notice, the carto has no rubber cap on it, and yeah thats the longest 808 battery ever. I went through the silver battery, the long battery and was onto the volt batteries, when the carto burnt out. Good thing I was not too long from my house but jesus.

Crazy past few days for me with vaping, but I made it with no cigarettes, so I win lol.

So what crazy things have you guys been through, burned your very last carto? Didn't notice that that was your last bottle? Crazy cops confiscated your pv? lol idk

When I was going to college, I was on my first semester and had a short day, so I only brought my Empire, a brand new 901 LR atty, and one bottle of juice. Everything was fine till I got there waiting for the doors to open, when I dropped my Empire in the grass, and the atty blew. I live 50 miles away, and had to wait an agonizing 3 1/2 hours to get my fix.

Now I can go a full day without vaping so it doesn't really seem all that bad, but back then it was terrible.

Back in 2010 I had a terrible year. Everyone I loved (including myself) got seriously sick. I was spending way too much to think about vaping supplies, everything came from China in huge packages, and I saw my KR808D supplies get used up at an amazing rate, and not having enough money to replace what I vaped. Eventually I stopped vaping as I ran out of supplies and money.

Now I've got backups of backups of backups. Mostly ego batteries and Kanger T3, plus several boxes of CE3 carts. I always have extra juice in case a shipment gets lost...

Knock on wood.....so far I've not had any bad vape days but since hubby and I are both retired and are homebodies we are not out and about. Although I did go through a period of not being able to taste any of my yummy flavors. Glad that has passed.

I'm having one today.... I forgot to refill my favorite juices last night so today I sit at my desk down to just my back up juice... which taste ok but one of them makes me cough like crazy and the other one seems to have turned in the clearo and is giving off this weird canned corn like after taste.... It doesn't taste "bad" but corn isn't exactly a flavor on my vape list lol.

I had a run of crap vape luck about a year ago. I was using a REO mini, and every. single. carto was failing me on it!! Burnt, stiff draw, tasted like crap.....I was ready to throw my REO at a brick wall. Turned out I had a faulty juice bottle in the REO. This went on for nearly a month before I figured out what the problem was. I felt like a real idiot......and I was pretty crabby!

I had what could have been a bad vape day a couple of weeks ago. It was the first time I had gone to a local vapers' meeting. My battery died, so I whipped out my backup battery, which lasted about three drags. Fortunately, one of the other vapers took pity on me and gave me one of his backup batteries. I'm still grateful, since now I have two backup batteries.

Shortly after quitting I went out with some old friends, all who smoke. Before leaving home I grabbed my fully charged ego mini and then headed to the bar. When my friends began smoking I pulled out my ecig, pressed the button, and when it lit up I began to inhale. Nothing. I repeated. Nothing. Repeated again. Still nothing. I began to have a nic fit but it subsided soon after. I was able to stay smoke free but I sure did chain vape when I got back home!

Every payday sucks for me. I never buy enough juice so I'm stuck on my extreme backup juice. It's got some overriding flavor they call cream in it and the taste actually makes me sick to my stomach. HATE HATE HATE that juice! I put an order in to Johnson Creek last night because I love Tundra and they ship really fast since we are in the same state. REALLY hoping that bottle comes tomorrow or I'm pitifully screwed until my ECBlend order comes in next Thursday .... I'll be on Blu throwaways or something.

Ugh, I use an Artemis tank and vivi novas. I burned out three whicks in ONE day, and with my artemis, four cardi's in ONE day flooded. All of them flooded instantly. Dual hole cardis flood like hell, dude. Sucks so hard. That's always pretty bad. I still have a lot of really bad luck burning whicks on vivi novas consistently. I'll switch back and forward between the two, still can't stay satisfied with one or the other. Not to mention, I broke four ego-t passthroughs when I first started vaping. The shop owner, whom I now work with, would always cut me deals 'cause he felt bad about it. Also, broke four drip tips in one day. I've broken... probably 23 of them now? Broke one last night, now I remember. I've never had good luck with anything I've ever owned.

ACL Music Festival before I switched to a bigger battery style. 3 days of music, 4 little slim style batteries. All of them died too fast and I was worn out each night after long days of jammin on great bands all day then going home each night and charging up all my batteries I knew wouldn't last me but part of the day. Hmmm, I guess my worst days of vaping weren't really all that bad. Life is good.

I am a homebody but when I do go out, it seems like my batteries die before I get a mile away from home. Not dramatic, but was pretty consistent. That's it pretty much except drip vaping on the go takes more talent than I have or maybe it's more experience with a certain attomizer. I try many still. Can't seem to settle down to a drip atty yet. But it takes a little more focus or you over drip, get juice in mouth, minimal vapor until you blow out the excess, wiping things up with jeans. Bringing the the glass bottle with glass tube on the inside of cap? I turn the open bottle over while aiming my drip from that cap tube. I thought I was going to use all glass bottles!

My bad vape days are usually the result of "vapor's tongue" and/or my inability to get any juice to wick without burning in any clearomizer or carto. It often happens all at once. Sometimes it will last for days straight where every juice tastes like windex no matter what I do. I hate it so much. But every once in a while I will mess up and smoke and it smells soooo bad i don't know how I ever did it. I don't even have to smoke sometimes to be reminded of it. I put on my winter gloves that I had not smoked with for over a year, and I swear they leave a faint odor of smoke on them. I guess for now I will deal with the "windex" days.

Now that I think of it, often on the days where all my juices taste bad food will as well. Sometimes everything will have this nasty metallic taste to it.

My first bad vape day was back in '09 when I first started vaping. I was living in Japan at the time and I ran out of juice... so I became desperate and tried to vape some vanilla extract. That killed my atomizer really quick. It took 2 weeks for new juice to arrive but once it did, I vowed to never run out of it again (unfortunately, those 2 weeks were 2 analog weeks).

More recently, I purchased an oddy clone and became so frustrated with the horrible machining and the ridiculously crappy way it was put together that I threw it and put a hole in the drywall. 34 buck wasted and a lesson learned to never buy knock-offs of quality products again... now back to messing with my new ZAP.
