As an example,
I work on the 7th floor and had to go to the ground floor to vape (company policy).
My PV was at my desk and forgot to bring it with me.
End result? cost me a stick of analog because I was too lazy to go up and down again.
Disavantage: Analogs are very accesible on my area with retails/sells by sticks. PV? don't leave without them.

Used to only have one device , and two batteries , one charger . Got caught without once while on vacation . Will never happen again . I now have more than a dozen devices , probably at least that many batteries , and several chargers . For the house , car , and the computer . I also have enough juice , to vape for the next two or three years , non-stop . I'm old , but like an old dog , I can still learn a few new tricks .

Went on a 2 week vacation to Taiwan. Forgot the Ego Charger. Not really speaking the language, didnt have any idea where to find any vape stuff there.

Now using an Evic and microUSB charging. Got about 20 of those cables laying around the house, a dozen more at work, and found a few in the car as well. And Each suitcase has a few of them. No more issues with charging.

Used to be, I'd head out with my lighter and a pack (or 2).

Now I have to make sure I have loaded tanks, 2 bats, chargers, car adapter, extra juice, etc. Lighter and cigs would fit in my pocket; my gear now resides in a padded gps case.

The stupidity comes in when I forget to clip the case to the purse.

Not complaining, tho.

When I smoked I only did it outdoors, after my "work day" as a stay at home mom was over and my child was in bed. I would then sit outside for hours upon hours chain smoking.

Once I started vaping, I took advantage of the fact that there was no second hand smoke and used my PV in the house, usually with my morning coffee, when I thought my three year old wasn't looking.

One day, my daughter picked up a pen, started sucking on it, and said "Hey mommy, look! I am making smoke, just like you!"

I had been so careful to hide my smoking, not only because of the second hand smoke, but because I did not want my daughter to form any kind of mental relationship with the act of smoking. I did not want her to emulate it or to associate smoking with me.

So, I feel that inadvertent, rather careless exposure was a disadvantage (the only disadvantage I've experienced so far) that I attribute to my own stupidity. I am not beating myself up about it, and I am now trying to be more discreet. It just made me realize how much children absorb and notice, even when I think I am not being actively watched.

I understand that some parents smoke in front of their children, even my best friend does. I was really adamant about not doing it however, so it felt like a failure that the association between "mom" and "smoke" happened after I quit.
