Hey guys! I've been scouring the forums for the last few months getting info and everything else as I'm more of a lurker than anything.
As most of you can probably see, I registered here a couple of years ago when I bought my first ecig. To make a long story short, as much as I loved it I got juice in my mouth with the old drip cartos a few too many times and went back to smoking.

On Christmas however my wife presented me with a Ego kit and some CE5 tanks which got me off cigs that very evening when I tried it and haven't had one since.

Within a couple of weeks I had upgraded to an eVic and Vivi nova combo and a couple of weeks later I switched the tank to an AGAT2 which thanks to you guys I have fallen madly in love with. I also have a Kamry K100 on the way along with another AGAT2 which is actually starting to make me think you guys are more of a bad influence than good *LOL*

Anyhow to make a long story short, I dropped my evic with the AGA-T2 tank a few times and it seems to have killed the threads somewhat on the tank. Now normally I do not drop my units that easily but this just happened to be I guess.
This resulted on the tank literally sliding in and out of my eVic rather than threading in and tightening as it should. After a lot of disappointment, cursing etc I decided to try the tank on the eGo battery (yes I know it looked freaking hilarious) but it threaded!
Still it would not thread on my eVic which had me stuck.

Long story short, if you have the same problem and I'm sure someone must have or will eventually. Get a 510 to 510 adaptor. As long as the threads aren't completely stripped flat, the AGA-T2 will screw into it and that will go on the eVic. It will leave a slight gap between the base and the tank but the main thing is that it will work flawlessly. Mine has been for a couple of weeks now so I thought I should share just in case anyone else is having the same issue. I know this is also not the place to share it but I can't post anywhere else yet due to my lurker tendencies.

Lastly thanks again to all of you for the treasure trove of info here. It has helped me in every single way and I've gone from a complete novice to mixing my own juice and enjoying every bit of my vape time!

Hi MHTSOS and good to hear vaping is working for you now.

IMO, it's more likely mostly your evic that has damaged threads now rather than the AGA-T. The threads on the 510-510 adapter are new and probably better than the threads on the AGA-T which is why it's working for you.

I had this happen on a Lava Tube a while back and I know it was the LT's threads that got damaged. I took a sealed 510-510 connector, applied a bit of Noalox to the connection and threads and epoxied the connector to the LT. This way the connector does not come off so there is no more wear on the LT threads. Been working for about 6 months now.
