Its been a week since I started using my new setup, which is a Nemesis clone that is supposed to be Hcigar (guaranteed hcigar by ebay vendor) and Kayfun Lite Plus by Tobeco (purchased because of adjustable air flow).

First off, my old set up was an ego with evod and T3S tanks.. I wanted to upgrade to a new battery to get a more throaty lung filled hit, with a longer life on single charge. I wanted to upgrade my tank to something more reliable and consistent with less leakage. I loved the idea of making my own coils and being more in control of my experience.

I had researched the difference between a Nemesis clone by Hcigar, and fakes made by who knows? When my clone arrived, the engravings didn't seem that deep and dark, the box said "nemesis" instead of "hcigar" and the trigger started having issues almost right away, all signs of a fake it seemed. Since then, I have decided the engravings are dark enough, and it appears that real Hcigar clones are being shipped in "nemesis" boxes.. But the trigger completely fell apart by the 4th day. I was so bummed out. After researching how to fix triggers, I was pleasantly surprised at my mechanical prowess, and I was able to fix the trigger. It now performs better than ever, smooth as butter, and its overall length was reduced several millimeters :) Here is a link that lead to my ability to repair the trigger.. I now am led to believe that maybe this is in fact the Hcigar clone but was just poorly assembled. The spring was not in its appropriate spot. It performs great today, so its true origins do not matter anymore.

The Kayfun Lite plus is a neat tank, but my original hopes of consistent reliability with no leakage were quickly squashed. I found out there is a learning curve in getting these tanks to perform correctly. Filling from the port at the bottom led to dripping out the drip tip every time resulting in a never ending flooded chamber, leaking out the air hole after every hit (blowing to clear hole only temporarily fixes problem). I tried the method of filling the tank from the top with air hole covered and flipping it over, release air hole, and this seemed to greatly reduce leakage. I have repeatedly disassembled the tank, trying different heights of microcoil, with different lengths of wick and as of the last two days have finally found my "sweet spot" of perfect assembly with no leakage. I am still hesitant to carry this in my pocket, because it sucks to smell of eliquid in the event of a leakage, but hopefully if I continue to have no problems, I will gain the confidence of pocket storage :p

So there is my two-cents on a noob's first time experience with a upgrade in his vaping gear. :D
Hopefully this helps someone out, be ready for unexpected setbacks as you settle into your new vaping gear. Patience is rewarding me and it has been a fun trial and error process so far. if any experienced users of this product has anything extra to point out to increase my success, be sure to chime in!
