Hey everyone, I been vaping for a while and never thought about this. With regulations and stuff being a hot topic now, I have beginning to think that maybe perhaps I should be stocking up. I've ordered a bunch of hardware/wire/cotton/batteries etc., but have yet to stock up on base nicotine or eliquids. I know that some people store their nicotine or pg/vg stuff in fridgerators and ive heard of people putting them in freezers but thats about it. Is there an expiration date on unflavored nicotine vase, whether it be PG or VG (does it even differ?) or does it not even have one? I've noticed some of my juices turn a darker yellowish color if I leave it out for long, and notice some real real old pre-mixed juices taste skunky after a long time, but what about just unflavored nicotine base? Would like to figure this out because I want to make a big order soon, but there would be no point if I was unable to vape it all before it goes bad.

I have 15 months old e liquids from MT baker vapor and Halo, and i'm still vaping them without any problem. Fruit flavors, tobacco flavors, menthols, and dessert flavors - all of them retained their flavors, and some of them even tasted better than when I first got the e liquids. (or maybe i'm imagining it) They say that the shelf life of the e juices are 1-2 years, and I think the e liquids will hold up for good 2 years from my experience. However, I did store the e liquids in a dark, cool place (in my drawer) and I never breathed my e liquids.

If I were truly worried about vapepocalypse, I'd just stockpile nic base in the freezer. You'll be able to get everything else you would need for DIY.

yeah thats what im planning on doing now. Whether the vapocalypse comes or not. Just like having stuff on hand and not ordering stuff anymore. Finally found my mod and rda's that are perfect for me, got the cotton. Now I just need the nic base and a bunch of wire and i should be set for months.

I'm not into DIY yet...but I was just curious about shelf life of nic base over the years. Does it last a good while like say for 10+ years or does it go bad fairly quickly such as a couple years. With the possibility of the upcoming vapapocalypse I was thinking of just storing a lot of DIY nic base for my vaping pleasure for years to come. Thank you for you replies in advance!
