Shelf life?

I know that the shelf life of juices is supposed to be around a year, but what about the components separately? PG? VG? Flavorings

Shelf life, what is this shelf life you speak of? I wondered the same thing when I first started vaping. However, I still have a little AVE Flue Cured in a 100ML bottle I bought about 18 months ago, and every time I fill a tank it still tastes lovely.

It just depends, doesn't it. Hell some juices taste bad when they are fresh!

I just took up vaping again after a year off(my bad; you know what I was doing) none of my flavors from vapelicious had gone bad; not one. Not even a little "off." my other most fave vendor's juices, some were bad, some had thickened and a few were ok. All the juices were over a year old. The difference? Don't know. I just know I haven't had a bad juice from Aimy, and I haven't had a juice go bad.

I have an old bottle of Nite Lite Vapor Goldrush which is dated 07/11 and it still tastes like it should.

Last year I sampled some Tasty Vapor Atomic Fireball which was two years old. This juice had intense cinnamon flavor when fresh but this old stuff had next to none.

I just cracked into a bottle of Gorilla Juice that (for a test) I've left alone for almost 2 years. The flavor is the same as if I would of used it up right away. I thought maybe such a long steep would do something special to it, but it didn't and now I know! Good question on the actual shelf life of PG and VG though, never really thought about it and I don't know.

I ended up with some old juice (about 18 month from "built" date) which had been sealed in plastic and found the flavor to be pretty light. I suspect the nic content has also reduced, but the vapor production is good, so I have been averaging it with some stronger juices and flavors. I doubt I would intentionally go that route in the future, but it's fine.

I'm not sure of the shelf life of either. I know I keep both the nicotine and pg/vg in a dark cool place and have had no problem with either getting thicker or losing strength. I've had them about 5 mo.s.....just bought more nicotine and won't get to it for another month and a half but it'll be fine. I just keep them sealed tightly, outta direct sunlight, outta damp places and I've had no loss of quality to date. I do make sure to stir them up before each use. My flavorings I do the same with and have had no loss of quality with......I'm curious about the cinnamon cuz' I just ordered it in a flavor and I read the earlier post where the taste of the ejuice had deminished...glad I order a tester size.
