I am curious if there is a shelf life aka expiration date, of prefilled carts. I'm not talking about the time after the cart is first used. Does any one Know? I haven't seen anything on the boxes..unless my eyes are worse then I thought8-o I have seen expiration dates on all the flavored juice I have purchased. I'm wondering about this...and if this could be part of the problem I have read in many post's about the prefilled carts being, bad tasting, dry, and a burning smell much sooner then that should happen.

I would think they would have the same shelf life if they're kept in a cool, dry, dark place. Problem is our cartos usually are kept in our pockets, pcc, etc. and probably get warm or hot leading to a shorter shelf life.

It's probably alright if you use them quickly. I'd still keep the ones you don't plan on using right away in a cooler place.

So you are saying the same expiration as E-juice.Also I am referring to unopened carts. I dunno...I disagree, and the carts are filled with stuffing, that might have an effect. However I think keeping the unused prefilled carts in a dark cool place would be benificial........Thanks for the tip~

It's just a theory, the prefilled cartos I got w/ my kit were horribly stale tasting. Since I've been filling blanks I haven't run across this. I try to keep enough prefilled cartos in rotation that I can handle w/o them sitting for too long but yes, correct storage may help if you have a stock pile of filled cartos.

Hi turbo...you made my point..as to an expiration date..by saying the carts you got with your kit where horribly stale tasting. So could it be ...the Shelf Life?I am only referring to the prefilled...not to the ones we fill our self's. Like you, I no longer order prefilled carts, because they taste pretty bad, most of them anyway's....I order blank carts, and fill my own. Problem solved. But what a waste of $ to find out.

Yes, I agree, I think it's probably due to shelf life of prefilled cartos. They go through a lot of different temperature conditions from China to here. I haven't purchased any after the kit experience, so my prefilled experience is limited. Filling blanks is the way to go for sure.
