To try and make a long and great story short while keeping it great.....

Earlier this year, a great member allowed me to purchase one of her Woodvils. I had always wanted one and Jan (JC Okie), sold me one of hers. After a short time, (we call it 'her spring break') I sold her back to Jan as I felt it just wasn't my thing as I was obsessed with the TRA's.

Ever since, I had felt this loneliness deep inside..........a loss.

Last week, someone posted about losing their Woodvil. I truly did and do feel bad for them as I too had lost. My loss was not the same but I still felt regret and expressed this in the thread.

.........Today. A nice cool Friday stroll out to the mailbox to get the bundle of coupons and neighborhood catalogs. I open up the box and just stare. There is a priority box in there. I got my Divo from Chowder yesterday so nope, not expecting anything. I pulled it out and saw Jan's name and address as return. ?!?!? I got it inside, opened it up and there was a black velvet bag with a letter. I read the letter which nearly brought a tear to the eye. I opened the bag and there she was.....My Precious! NEVER to leave my side again. Jan! ........YOU are awesome and the reason that REOville and REOnauts are so special.

I am soooo lucky!
I am still speechless.....
I can't freakin believe it.....

Sometimes it seems Jan skirts around Reoville waiting for that right moment to step in and make someones day! She amazes me with her generosity.

A Woodvil to some people, seem to have a life force. Once that force connects with you it is hard to pull away.

So glad that your Woodvil is back where she belongs! She is beautiful!

Cliven spoiled her so much when he had her (which tells me he's gonna be a great Grandpa....I saw that adorable baby in another thread) that she has been whining and begging to go "home" for months. I kept trying to tell her that My house was her first home, but I think she was just too young to remember it. Once she read that Cliven missed her.....wham! That's all it took. She packed her little bag and parked herself by the mailbox with her thumb out. I figured the only decent thing to do was pay her airfare....

Enjoy her, James.

I felt compelled to +100 this. Jan is one awesome, generous person! I was blessed enough to experience her generosity and kindness first hand as well and reading your post makes me smile. She definitely has a knack for stepping in and touching peoples lives!

Beautiful mods with beautiful stories from beautiful people. I'm loving being a part of the Reo "way of life"!

Jan, that is an amazing awesome thing you have done. You are always here to give advice and lend helping hand. Always offering to send wicks, wire, you name it.

You were an inspiration for me to try to do the same.

But above that, you are a member of a renegade faction of ultra cool REOnauts (that I hope to one day belong to) that selflessly gives big ticket and rare items to people. I admire you for this Jan. I bet you feel as good as the receiver of that awesome woodvil.

You do rock woman. :)
