Must be something about weenie dogs . This is my oldest’s very patient long hair doxie. My favorite is the reindeer, she reminds me of the pup in The Grinch. The Mardi Gras golden belongs to the cat dresser . Poor dog gets “decorated” every holiday. I think some of them just have a sense of humor. I love that in a pet. Somewhere I have a picture of my black Pom dressed up as a bat, grinning ear to ear. He loved the attention. I dressed Rudy up as Honk Kong Phoey one year, and he was not impressed.

My Em isn't feeling very humorous atm, bath day. She's now folded into a dry towel and covered with a blanket on my lap. I'm stuck here for at least the next two hours; baths make her sleepy after the obligatory mad dashes & crashes throughout the house.

It’s beautiful. I wish I could get into the spirit, but it’s just too hard this year. My sister didn’t even put up a tree... first time ever.

Beautiful place and very festive! Since I live alone and we are all at my daughter’s house on Christmas, I don’t decorate but I love to drive around and appreciate other people’s decorations.

I don't decorate either, but I do live at my work so that lodge is kind of my living room

But I'm too lazy to decorate otherwise. Though my actual living room has some Christmas lights in it year-round, just because I love them. @beckah54 I also love to drive around and look at everybody's decorations - want to do that soon! A lot of the local houses go all-in and are generally quite lovely.

The laziness of my house.
I chose not to buy a tree either. The mess of putting it up, lights, getting all decorations out, ugghh...I was just not into it.
Then on Sunday, at the grocery store I saw these cute little evergreen type trees so I bought one and through a few lights on it. In typical fashion, my big guy Joe, always claims the spot under it.

I’m making these into little warm hutches to stay in too so they trap their body heat.

Saw this is getting popular- converting old coolers into feral cat shelters. Looked like a pretty good idea to me. Some are more elaborate. You might consider it for your rabbits. Thought about making one myself, for when our cat, who sleeps on the screened porch in good weather, doesn't ask to come in in time during cooler weather. Just a thought.

i have 2 semi feral cats on the payroll.
this is cuddles.
they protect my fig crop.
they now live in the house at night, when coyotes prowl.
i thot i was a dog person but i love my kits.
once they started following me around, i knew they loved me back.
