On Friday, it will be a year since Dad died. This past year has absolutely flown by. But I am still so grateful that Dad didn't have to go through a long drawn out, painful end to his cancer battle. If he could've picked any way to go - he would've chosen the metastatic brain tumours, that only took 3 days to end his journey

My nephew and I trying our luck ;)
So sorry for your loss, I lost my son to cancer in October and have a long road ahead. Unfortunately I had to watch my son wither away for over a year but he fought to the end. He loved fishing and I wish we could have spent more time doing so together.

Good to hear that Sylvester is recovering comfortably from his surgery.
Yes he’s eating well now that I put him back with his bunny family. They were all happy to see him again. Momma sassy bathed him and precious up because they smelt funny after being at the vet all day

Your Dad looks like he was a total blast to hang with! Oh yeah, and you too. ;)

Speaking of fishing you'll have to take me there when my tiny row boat, Carli and I make it there. Only modern navigation aid I have are the stars and Sun so it'll be a while. The book I bought on reading those is, challenging. :p

I'm sorry that you've lost him so young  His attitude towards cancer, tells me he was one very special person

Morning everyone! I need lots of finger crossing today. I’m second in line for a meet and greet with a small rottie mix boy. Weirdest coincidence, his foster is a former student and classmate of my oldest. Maybe that’ll give me an edge when it comes to picking his fur-ever home
