It’s a sad morning for me :(

I had the bunnies in the other house and my mom finished supper so I put some wood over top and went in. I didn’t put the posts around the house yet to protect from digging like I did wth fluffys and when I came out Stevie had dug her way out and was out on a busy road eating grass in the storm.

I haven’t cried in years but I sure was yesterday and feel awful today. At least bugs and sassy didn’t follow they stayed in the pen.

I found her again this morning but couldn’t catch her last night she was under my neighbors car and I managed to get her with one hand but then she got away I didn’t Have a good grip. She was scared so I left her.

I put the trap out by my neighbors car this morning loaded with her favourite treats . She hasn’t gone far she’s still basically on my property. But I’m so worried for her. Mabye she’s just a free roam bunny and wants to explore. I don’t know.

I’m sorry guys :(
Oh I hope she comes home very soon!

I want to be reincarnated as a TREE. That would be freaking aweomse. LOL.
Until you have an itch you can't scratch.

Or a woodpecker who decides to make a big hole in your trunk for its living quarters. Ouch!
And a host of birds, and other critters, constantly pooing all over you.

Or until a lumberjack comes along and determines you're the one.

Or some idiot starts a wildfire ... near your roots.

Probably one of the worst would be a non-native insect infestation who slowly eat at your insides.
And there are a lot of insides if you are a giant sequoia with a 30 foot (9 meter) diameter and more than 250 feet (76 m) tall.

If you've never seen and been up close to giant sequoia's I highly recommend visiting sequoia national park in California. Like other species they are endangered. They're totally awesome.

Still wanna be a tree?

If reincarnation is a potential reality, and lets be honest no one knows for certain, I imagine being reincarnated completely off Earth in a galaxy far away ...where harmony and balance exist... very far away from the gun toting backwards thinking, who constitutionally still think it's the 1780's, and claim everything is fake news. Oh I didn't just write that did I ... I did.

But while I'm stuck here on Earth I much prefer like minded animal people. :D

She’s just been hanging around the back yard my mom says.

I don’t know Mabye she’s just a free spirit. But she is vulnerable to cats and owls out free like that. I’m worried for her.
Patience Ricky. No need to be sorry. You'll get her back. This is all still very new for them. She knows and trusts you. That goes in your favor. You know she loves the food you provide. Looking for some good food is probably why she is hanging around your yard.

Thanks everyone. I’m getting a fishing net from a buddy to try to catch her. It’s a really bad storm around here and i couldn’t see her when I got home. She must be trying to stay dry somewhere. She must be getting hungry for something besides grass.

I hope she’s okay .

Thanks. Angel turned 10 last year and still looks like a kitten. She was a rescue. Always looking to get into everything, everywhere. When she gets mad at my German shepherd she will come up to her and rapidly double swat her nose like a boxer lol. Dog yelps, cat growls, dog runs to her kennel, cat chases and sits right at the door growling. Dog lays in the kennel with her ears plastered to her head. It's really funny. A GS who is afraid of nothing else in the world being bossed around by such a little cat. Cracks me up.

HAHA. This scene goes on 2-3 times a day at my house. My guy Joe, loves to bully the dog and takes a pop anytime she comes near him. It is like a boxer, boom boom, (he is fast) and Daphne cowers. If Daphne does not heed the warning, she ends up with a bloody nose. And then she barks, in a way she doesn't usually bark. It sounds like she is indignant at the unfairness of it all. The dog is 3x's the cats weight.

I hope that if reincarnation is real, I go there with you. I think reincarnation is the most likely scenario really, though I have no beliefs. Hope, though, because that sounds awesome. And lots of bunnies, dogs and cats. And otters. Penguins and Sloths too! :nun:

I saw sequoias for the first time last Fall. Needed a break from the heat of the desert so I went up into the forest and hiked the trail of 1,000 giants. Touristy trail yes, but it wasn't planned. I was driving around and stumbled on it. Pulled into the parking area and there was a ranger standing there who waved me down. We chatted and she asked if I was planning to hike it. I said that I was just sightseeing, wanted to see the sequoias. She told me the trail was short enough that I'd have time for it (it was nearing sunset), and offered to let me hike it for free. I hadn't even realized there was a charge, but I must say that I've always cast a certain spell on little old ladies, so just smiled and took her up on the offer :D

It was one of the highlights of my trip. I've never seen such remarkable trees. I sat inside of one for a while just imagining all it's seen in it's life. The land around it was scorced, other trees had come and gone, but they are so resilient that it was still alive and well.

I also fancy the bristlecone pines, which I visited a year prior up in the white mountains of CA. They hold just as much majesty, but lack the sheer size that the sequoias have. Those are probably my two favorite trees. I do have a soft spot for the red pine in my area as well, but they are very different: tall and slim. But they glisten when wet with gorgeous red bark.

 hilarious. Reminds me of a time some guy approached Chrissy on top of a mountain in VT and said "are you sunburnt?" (her face was really burnt). She said yes, then the guy just stared at her with a blank expression. Then walked off. Was so weird and awkward. I was laughing really hard and I think she smacked me.

Taking fluffy down in a bit to get neutered . Keep him in your thoughts guys.

After the gym I was out in the rain and storm last night setting the trap by some bushes Stevie walks by to check out the neighbors yard. Cut down a bunch of branches to cover the trap up wth. Hopefully she goes in. I got soaked

Good day peeps and pets.

George suffers from insomnia as well? Funny…so does Zelda
Gracie is no help; if George wakes her up she B-slaps him upside his head. She's such a hypocrite, if I scold George she comes a running to comfort him.

Well you can’t come back as a sloth again the next life. Mabye a bunny... just come find me if I’m still alive by some chance in the future and live in my rabbit sanctuary. Just beware if you start humping the females like crazy I’ll have to take you down like fluffy and get that taken care of.
