All critter snuggles are to be treasured assuredly but there's just something about bunny snuggles. Maybe it's the nose.
I love how they twitch the nose back and forth lol but most bunnies just arnt really all into snuggles. Takes a while to earn their trust since they are so low on the food chain. Stevie takes food right from my hand and doesn’t mind pettting. Same with fluffy. Sassy and bugs are still quite skittish. Especially when my mom comes in to feed them lol they are usually cowering behind something waiting for her to drop the food
Most all animals take their que from the human's energy. Honestly my interactions have mostly been with domestic rabbits and are usually quite happy to snuggle up. The wild ones I rescue from the cats are usually mortally injured. Those I just put in a quiet dark place so they can die in peace. Holding them would just be too cruel though it is what would comfort me.
I’ll do research while I’m at mom’s. I have a new cheesecake base steeping (slight variation on the INW YWCC 1.2.3 recipe). It’ll be ready when I get home. I think my only pecan is roasted pecans and cream. I don’t think FA nut mix is the right direction. A caramely something? You’re way better at this than me. Or, we can just ask Fran lol... she’s got more cc recipes than anyone!
Yea well you gotta remember these guys were dumped in the wild or born in the wild and did what they had to to stay alive. I’m always very nice and gentle slow deliberate movements etc. Sweet talking them and letting them know it’s me coming. I figure they are scared of my mom because she struggled to lift up the door and move it before I put it on hinges. So usually grunting groaning and probably swearing tying to get in their house lol once she couldn’t do it because her back was sore so she gave up. Now it’s easy and an actual door that swings and locks closed
Got a battery operated light that is quite bright and lights up their whole house today. Came wth two but one seems sufficient enough.

I actually have a roasted pecan cheesecake that I'm not too pleased with. I was thinking maybe both Purilum and FW butter pecan with a kiss of VT toffee ice cream or FW pecan praline & cream for the topping. Have yet to find a cheesecake base I love, turns out I do better with yogurts. Doesn't help I dislike graham. For a crust I'd lean towards WF shortbread cookie and maybe a touch of brown sugar cookie. For a caramel VT salted and WF caramel butter with just FW butter pecan. Cheesecake maybe LA, WF mascarpone, and CAP or yes we. I don't know, ask Fran.
Made me go look. I have 2 steeping. Tested this one a week early, nice and tangy. The mascarpone may have been all I added to the original recipe. I use butter pecan in a cc crust (the figgy cc with orange zest I’ve been trying to fix forever).
Have you tried VT orange marmalade yet? I don't have the fig but imagine the two paired would be a treat.

It is he may be a ...... in my moms eyes but he is so cuddly probably the most out of all them. The vet was snuggling him for ages. She was going on about his white belly and soft fur. Just saying how beautiful he is.Fluffy's pelt just looks so soft.
It seemed like I paid 85 bucks just to have her snuggle him and look at photos with me while talking bunnies haha
Now that dam bugs is getting all horned up like fluffy. I came home from the gym to see fluffy looking out his kennel at bugs trying to do Stevie . Stevie went in the tunnel with sassy and then bugs followed so Stevie let out a scream. I had to go in and save her. Stevie came to me and said thanks . These boys got to learn No means no. I had to say hey get off her! I’m coming in Stevie girl!! My neighbors must wonder what’s going on lol
I am going to say this and then IMMEDIATELY retract it, LOL. Bunnies born NOW would be able to be domesticated from the start.
I'm just mentioning it. I love the bunny pics we had TONS of bunnies in my Tucson yard, and i swear, I LOVED watching them play and have babies (many many babies) they were like the only animals in the yard that were not actvely trying to KILL me.
I am sending you bunny fixing money my next paycheck.I had to do Christmas we are slightly broke.
