they had no business putting a nucular plant so close to my fav city.
my semi feral kits have already gone outside to take care of
important cat business.
for some unknown reason, they both decided to come back in.
they are zooming around at 100mph.

Have your local cell carrier send out an emergency alert – guaranteed your kitties will reach 150mph!

We literally didn't get any ice here at all. That forecast was hilariously wrong. We did get insane amounts of rain, high winds and we lost power - but thankfully no ice. The temperatures must have stayed warmer than they expected. Now the rain's died down, and should turn to snow soon anyway.

But the winds sound like they're trying to tear the house down. The dog doesn't care. He's lying on his back wanting me to rub his tummy. But I'm too angry at an employee to rub anybody's tummy right now. Wonderful day in the Dacks, truly is. :D

Hope Zelda cuts you a break soon Punk, you need some rest!

Edit: power just came back! Turns out this was a total inversion and the lower elevations to our north, east and west got slammed with ice.

Well that’s good I guess .

We’re supposed to start getting our snow tonight.

Can’t wait to start working in the wind and snow all week. Makes the wind and rain seem better.

Everything is buried under snow and you gotta figure out where to dig to get to the product you need. A delivery order that takes an half hour in regular weather takes a few hours at least in the snow

Yeah, everything takes longer in the snow. Imagine how slow a Sloth moves in the snow.

I like just a wire brush and if you hold it at a certain angle, one you can practice to achieve, you can get a lot of loose fur out. The slicker brushes are pretty intense and although they are good at removing hair, they are also not something the kitty will enjoy as much as just a wire brush

This is purely for her benefit  not mine. I couldn't give a :censored: about fur everywhere. I just want to help by brushing her, so she doesn't have to do so much grooming.

Thank you - that wire brush looks perfect. She will probably eat it or shred it, but they are cheap ;)

I have one just like it! If you turn the wire part of the brush kind of sideways it will work like a slicker. Also you can comb backwards to remove hair from kitty. They love it on their back, cheeks, under chin...

I’ll gladly send you some “Spring”... it’s in the 60’s and has been raining sideways all morning. Once it stops and the pumps clear water off the streets, I can get out for errands. Critical lack of both kitty food and litter tops the list. And.....Trying to decide whether or not to text my Vet. Monk has been waking up several times the last couple of nights with fits of coughing and wheezing. If he was human, I’d say he sounds like someone with congestive heart failure and associated cardiac asthma. Not sure if that applies to dogs. I really just don’t want to know, I can feel a rip in my heart starting.

That’s what made me bring Rudy to the vet, coughing and wheezing. Congestive heart failure. He’s taking enalapril and furosemide. I have to keep him out of the heat, extreme cold, and try to keep him from getting too excited or exerted. But he’s doing okay, it’s been about a year and a half now, and he’s 15.5 years old. He’s starting to lose weight, fairly blind and deaf, gets confused and a bit stumbly these last couple weeks. I know I won’t have him forever, but for now he seems happy enough, and he’s not suffering.

Poor fluffy came out to explore today and bugs attacked him ripping some fur off of poor fluffy. I had to pick him up and save him. Fluffy didn’t even fight back he just came running up the ramp to me to pick him up
Methinks Bugs is due for a snip.

Cleaned out the kennel and put lots of hay and wood chips in there to make it cozy for Stevie. Lots of goodies as well. She is fast asleep in there resting. it’s hard to see I don’t want to wake her up but she’s on her side with her white belly showing snuggled up in some hay. She looks exhausted and she finally feels safe and can sleep.

The neighborhood cats have been chasing her around and she hasn’t been able to sleep well I guess . She’s full and getting some well needed rest.

    Such a Cute girl

Did it come on suddenly? His chest sounds clear, but I can hear “congestion” in his throat. It’s worse at night, almost like a kiddo with the croup. He seems happy though, sleeping the day away and chowing down on dinner.
