The doggie grippy socks are here. Monk was uncharacteristically disinterested in them. Put on without a flinch, walks like normal. Except now he sounds like my grandma in her scuffie house shoes on the hardwood . They’re a bear to keep on straight... there must be a trick to it.

Maybe try ponytail scrunchies? Shouldn't be too tight I would think and easy to get on/off.

They have a velcro strap at the top, but they keep rotating at the bottom. He’s gotten a bit duck-footed in his old age.

Zelda loves scrunchies so she approves. But not for the same reason.

Good day peeps and pets

All is well in the Zelda house. Haven’t been keeping up with the thread so will leave you with today's cat meme.

May a small disk of memory foam inside the bottom? His foot indent might keep the bottom more stable.

Archie was a porch cat for about 10 days. Then he became a garage cat for about 4 days. He is now a spare bedroom cat. I felt like he was lonely and might be happier in the midst of things. If it gets to be too much I can always shut the door. Now he has a window seat too.

I'm surprised. I would've thought they'd be ripping them off instantly.*

And I feel sorry for all those dogs being laughed at, even though I understand the laughter. Dogs get embarrassed so easily.

    * I bet Georgia would.

We love to put one over on our dogs over the years but I guess we trained them to have the right attitude about it because after we we got done "ROFLMAO" we always petted and and sounded like we were praising them. They were all happy we laughed at them, even if they didn't get why. Trust me, cats and rabbits just don't care if you laugh at them.

I wouldn’t have thought of that! I do have some glycerin. Would certainly work in a pinch when he gets stuck down on the hardwood. Between him being 115 lbs, and my bad back, I can’t get him up even with a lift strap. Our current method is my scooting him until he can get his front paws on the kitchen tiles or a rug. It’s quite a sight

Trying to think ahead with our current dog and our experience with our last dog. With our last dog we put down mats and rug runners over the slippery spots but most of the house is carpeted. Neighbor had problems with their elderly dog wandering onto the kitchen floor and falling and not being able to get up. My plan for a current remedy, should we move somewhere with slick floors, dog weighs over 100 lbs, is to get three or four lightweight, rubber-backed bathmats that I can throw down to help get him to safety until we can revamp our new surroundings. My strength is dwindling far faster than his aging should be. Just a thought.

Anyone else worried there's no bunny photos tonight?

I got a friend from work to come home with me after I brought the bunnies home from the vet. We were in the pouring rain taking down the old canopy that was letting water through and folding it up then set up the new one and put sides on it.

That was nice of him not a lot of people would do that I gave him a few bottles of juice and some marijuana oil I’ve had sitting in my cupboard for a while I don’t really vape anymore.

I was so tired by the end of it I could barely stay awake.

This one seems to be waterproof it was expensive so it better be

I found out Bugs had fleas :(
They said he probably had them from living in the wild at the lumber yard.

I got flea treatment for all the bunnies I had to get them all done because it will spread to them all eventually.

They each get a treatment once a month for 3 months then they will
Be good. Lucky it was only 90 bucks for that whole package for 4 bunnies. Less than I thought.

Gotta keep my bunnies well :)

I got to give bugs and sassy theirs at the office yesterday so they could show me how to put it behind their ears.

This was after getting their treatment:)

    Aw thanks.

Gonna clean the house out now that it’s dry. Water was getting in the front door. Stevie and fluffy will have to go outside for a bit. Feel a little bad for disturbing them.

    They are lover bunnies

The bunnies are SO awesome! They are keeping me sane. And yes, they live like kings and queens. I was gonna say like kept wives, but I did not wish to introduce the grossness of the concept....

So kings and queens it is. They look more domesticated all the time.

It really is the sweetest thing. I wish I was that nice. I mean,, yeah I call animal control or even pick up a dog by the side of the road, if I think it won't eat me, etc..

But my kid trained me into it dude, I mainly do it because I know he would be SO DISAPPOINTED .
