God I’m just so tired out . Works been so crazy busy I can’t remember when it’s been so busy. Just not enough time in a day to get all the orders done not to mention all the customers coming in so much more than usual. Looking to do jobs around home I’m guessing.

Never had time to take a pee even when I had a full bladder let alone wash my hands.

This question is for cat owners, has anyone used this particular kitty window sill perch. I like this one because you can use it with a open window. Before I buy I thought I'd get some feedback ( pros & cons ). Video link is below.

I had to let foster Shyguy out of his cage. He turned over his food dish and litter box. So I let him roam in the spare bedroom and he liked that even less. Howling and tearing at the carpet. The I decided to let him free roam the house. He chased and cornered my cats for 5 hours. They are both seniors and do not want to play with a young squirt. Finally caught him and put him back in the bedroom and can hear him howling and tearing at the carpet. Jerk.

I have not used that one but I have tried similar ones. I can never make them stay in the window like they are supposed to. Not putting screws into my windowsills either. MY last house was geared towards animal fun and frolic. I have to be more careful with this house.

doesn’t seem like shyguy has got the memo?

Also it says the window sill is able to be Velcro‘d on :)

He is def lacking in social skills and even Daphne (renowed cat foster) was not willing to try her hand with him. sweet little guy but he is GONE. Took him to a friends who has a garage that fosters free roam in. He needed constant attention. I had to sit in his room with him all morning just so he would not cry and howl.

I've been looking at these sorts of things too.

Luna is my first ever inside-only cat. I live on a huge farm, but she came from a an indoor cattery foster, as part of a rescue shelter. After a month, I let her outside but she just got so scared when she saw a dog, or another person, she ran back inside and hid for hours. I gave her a few more tries, but again, something scared her, and she ran back in and hid. So now she is my indoor kitty

I think these sorts of wall mounted shelves would work for Luna:

Those look great for Luna. My Chance is so fascinated with watching birds I think the window perch would give him some extra room to sit or lie down at the window sill. It's so amusing to watch the birds sit on the outside window sill and chirp at him when the window is open ( screen in between them ) of course.

Mine might too . It’s a brother that supposedly does simple embroidery/initials, automatic button holes... a bunch of stuff I can’t figure out, cause I never can get it to behave lol. I have a 90 yo singer travel machine I usually use instead. It’s a trooper! No bells and whistles outside of the buttonhole jigs, but I can actually work it. It would sew through concrete I think. It whipped through 3 layes of marine vinyl.

Mine are both Brothers. There are some good YouTube videos on all their models. Each is similar, but has its own specific things too.

I inherited my grandmother’s treadle Singer from my mom. Haven’t fiddled with it yet, but that thing could probably sew a truck to a bridge, lol.

The newer Singers just are not made very well.

I’m just not sure what the deal is with that. There is no fabric I know of that would make an acceptable barrier. I’ve looked for some sort of reliable information but all I can find are loads of Facebook posts and links to dry websites articles.

I get that they could be used over a real mask, but why? How would that be breathable? Why would anyone use these not knowing where they came from, what they’re made of, or if they could be sterilized?

I try to ask these questions in my crafting groups but all I get is static.

I did get this guy threaded and it runs. My step-grandfather wired it in the 60’s. It smells like vintage electrical fire. I need some of that stuff to keep the belt from slipping. Maybe if I can find a replacement belt for the original treadle, I’ll get one. I’d rather run it that way. Very cool old thing though. Sews quiet and straight.

I inherited my moms too. Circa 1970 ish. I hope it is a good one because I cannot bear to part with it since it was my moms. I need to take it somewhere and have it tuned up. Sewing machine shops are few and far between anymore.
