Your pictures make me want to get another rabbit, my nieces would love this, bunny's are so soft and lovable. I wouldn't want just one though, I think it would be lonely without a (bunny) friend. Hmm, I'm going to think about it for awhile first. I don't know if I am ready for any more pets right now, might be better to bring the kids to a petting zoo instead. But then there's social distancing safety to consider. Hmm, dilemmas, dilemmas.

I bet your niece loves to come to your house. You are teaching her to respect animals by spending time with her like that.
Ah not really I’m over that now. Sad but that’s part of life. Hard to imagine having a baby and then doing that right after though.
They are good pets and I love them all. They are a lot of work and if you keep one inside the house they can wreak havoc even when litter trained by chewing everything and tracking hay everywhere. Wouldn’t be as much as mine I guess just having one or two. If you have one you’d have to spend lots of time with him/her otherwise they do get depressed. They do much better with a friend. But one woman from my work just took one of the Stevie babies and she seems to be doing awesome and spends most of her Time inside with the family since they own their home and don’t rent.
They are good pets if you have a nine to Five job since they are a type of animal that’s most active in the early morning and evening. They tend to sleep most of the day . Not nocturnal but another name I can’t remember now. Mine are waiting for me at 6am all week for me to come feed them and say hi. Then again at 5 to 6pm when I come home. They make their food last because they eat until they are full then stop not the way a dog does or a little piggy
Still Definitely not something to be taken lightly too many people let them go once they realize how much work they are. Not good to keep them in a little cage their whole life either that’s why I built my hutches with room to play.
Yes she’s 3 so it’s hard but she’s gotten a lot more gentle with him and Sylvester has gotten used to her now it seems he didn’t mind her at all.
The other ones were coming up to take food from her too but once they got close and sniffed it she would ram it in their face and cause them to jump back lol still got much to learn
That poor woman, she must have had post partum psychosis not post partum depression (you get dx that if you do something really, um not logical and yes it is possible to be depressed and psychotic. It's usually a hormonal thing, with an underlying vulnerability perhaps) Thank God she did not take her child with her, and I hope the kiddo has a really great dad and in time, a wonderful stepmother to love her. Blass that family, hugs to that child's mother and I hope she landed safe in her Creator's arms. In my world, suicide doesn't take you to hell. I am intimately familiar with suicidality and I know battling it was the REAL hell. I was lucky I got a kid so special and sweet, I just couldn't do it, then bartered my teeth for happiness.
Prior to that time, before discovering I could not have any more kids I made my mom promise to come for two months and make sure I was never alone with the baby. Because postpartum psychosis has nothing to do with a) how much you love you kid b) what kind of person you are or c) anything other than a Very SEVERE and dangerous medical condition, I was terrified I'd get it I am super high risk. Whelp that turned out not to be an issue and when I think about having a 16 year old running around now I get faint. LOL.

Yea either way it’s sad. I can see why my girlfriend jumped her baby died due to her accidentally smothering her while passed out drunk and she had to live with that.
At first I thought it was because of me breaking up with her a few hours prior to her death but after finding that out I understood why she was hurting so much.
Thanks I could’ve looked it up but I’m busy working away on the bunny condos. Neighbors must think I’m building an addition with all the sawing and drilling every weekend.
Doing the siding to the bunny houses today. Also made a couple big storage containers with lids for bales of hay and then another for tools and stuff with a lock
Hoping for summer to start soon so I can paint these houses. Just been rain rain rain . The past few summers around here have started later instead of the end of May getting warm and turning to summer like it used to we’ve just had a couple fairly hot days then rain. Even now still rain .

More pouring rain today. I’ll never be able to paint if this keeps up
We’re covered up with coyotes here. When the river rises especially, they come off the batture/levee to hunt in the neighborhood. It is definitely gruesome to find a “leftover” meal in the front yard. Too many neighbors have lost cats to them to count, sometimes right in their own fenced backyards. We’re also right off a busy road, so kitties are indoor only at my house. Fortunately, mine is a sofa cushion, so no fussing to roam.
