I've had some requests again recently for me to explain my method of polishing my GG - so I thought I would re-link to some old posts where I explained it.

Haven't shined it for a while though, it's looking nicely broken in and I kinda like it that way.

I loved my transformer when it was still in matte finish, but it suddenly caught H1N1 and developed weird stains all over, so I had to polish it with this:

It's just great.

The best and cheapest. The description is also written in Greek , so it is perfect for the GG line. Brass and Aluminium parts shine like a Goddess with this!!!

I just use some Mothers mag wheel cleaner polish. First 1000 grit sandpaper and then a scotch brite pad to get it smooth and then hit it with the Mothers .... wala... shinny GG.... But then at my shop I can always touch it up on the high speed buffing wheel..... takes about 15 seconds.... hahhahah

Tools are one thing but knowing how to use them is another. Having the right tool for the job not only makes it easier and faster but the end result is much better. If you know what I mean.

Vapn of course my friend, my father says this even if he knows that he is wrong the most of the times but his example was this: Try to dig 10m deep with your hands even if you are the best on diging. The stupid man behind you with a shovel in his hands will do it faster
