Hey all! So after a week of vaping I believe I substituted my Analog addiction to a new one .... Shinyitus. Yes, I moved away from analogs 8 days ago - and couldn't be happier with the decision. I broke the chains a week ago this past thursday and already own an Innokin VTR, 2 Iclear X.1 tanks and a spare Iclear 30S tank. with a Sigelie VMAX V5 and Kayfun mini (clone) on the way.

I have a feeling this is going to be an expensive venture LOL

ANYWAY

You think it's bad now, shinyitus is a very expensive disease, your buying gear now, next will be buckets of juice, all kinds of toppers and what not. Stage two is when you have to buy more dressers and furniture to hold it all. Then have to move it all to find the last socket in the house that does not have a charger hooked up to it. By the way welcome to ECF, It helps in the cause of shinyitus. But in one positive at least you can say you don't smoke when sombody try's to bum a cig off you.

This...

As for the socket and charger situation, better look at one (or more) of these charging stations now ;)

since this thread is basically my startup, 'lets not let the newbies spam thread' I'll ask a new question here... just got to 12mg juice (started last week at 24) any suggestions on the big drop from 12-6? cutting my nic intake by half makes me nervous... dont want to turn into a monster for a week LOL

What I have been doing is getting some identical juice in a lower nic level and then mixing it down to get smaller reduction increments. I find it is the hit and flavor that suffers more than the people around me :)

As to your shinyitus, I see no problem!

Heh, I can spend a lot of money a month and not approach my Camel habit cost. But the reality is, looking at it now I could not really afford to smoke. Funny how addiction makes us justify all kinds of things.

Fixed it for you

Welcome to the new world addiction. More gear!

HaHa I hear that one... Could always replace my 2 Efest with Sony VTC5's LOL. I joke about that now, but it almost seems like a good idea :toast:

Welcome aboard ionman! Shinyitis can be a dangerous condition, but after you settle in a bit, it won't be so bad. I dropped a *BUNCH* of money early on. Started slowing down in the 3rd/4th month. Building my own coils now; making my own juice. Gonna save up for my next "big" purchase - just have to figure out what it will be :D

Enjoy the :vapor:

I should be set for at least a year in DIY stuff, coils etc etc etc.. If not, oh well, it's still cheaper than smoking :)

That's kinda what i figure. I've been smoke free for 10 days, that's about $100 I would have spent on Camels, instead I've spent $200 on self sufficient vaping. I figure after all is said and done I'll be vaping DIY nic free for as long as I want. Basically for a fraction of the cost. In fact I'll still be saving money after I'm stocked up. Given enough time, it seems vaping pays for itself in money saved....

Or at least that's the spiel I gave myself when buying my 'backup' mod :p

Tired of slowtech, they pushed my vmax v5 order back another week. Originally was supposed to ship 8/17... cancelled. Probably going to go the eccentric route and grab an Hcigar Hammer Mod with a Tobeco Kayfun Mini V2.1 and a Long Drip Tip . the jury's still out on that idea though.

Yyeah, vaping saves, even when reinvesting in killer gear. That's what the counter is for, showing how much you should spend in vape gear:D Sometimes challenging, but now have to not spend on smokes a few more months before can justify buy another vape thing.:D But do have 3 mods in the process, so to speak, one in the DataStream. Love, simply love Vape Mail.!!:D

Many of us will justify our expenditures by quoting how much we are saving by not smoking cigarettes. Many will say that it took time and money to find the right mod, tank and e-juice to satisfy our individual needs. Many just like new shiny toys to play with, and it doesn't matter to them how much they spend. Many will be happy with that first $25 kit they got at the mini mart. But the real savings is in lives, and as they say "PRICELESS".
