Yeah well, as far as my memory serves I cant remember an American made product ever ruining your childs kidney's with toxic baby formula. Or industrial grade BPA by products in toothpaste and eye drops. Or your pets dying from poisoned cat food. Those are all recent product contamination's from China, and their are even more recent ones with the Wal-Mart and McDonald's recalls because China was loading up charm bracelets and shrek glasses with Cadmium.

Not saying it's never happened here, but it's a regular thing with China. And like it or not if it ever happened with e-liquids it could really be the death of electronic cigarettes. Would give the FDA and big tobacco plenty of ammunition to get imports banned. They are already on their hit list.

The Shrek Glasses were made here in America by Arc International ;)

US shipping is a little high too. You can get 7x7x6 Priority Mail boxes free from the post office (which would be large enough for almost any order), and which ship for the same price as the smallest bulk-rate Priority Mail boxes (4.95). If you have an account set up with the post office, they will give you a discount on the postage and throw in tracking for 19 cents. Most US orders could ship for $5.00.

Not knocking V4L, just sayin that lower shipping rates might stimulate even more orders. I know that I am hesitant to order the blank cartomizers that I need right now, because that is the only thing I need, and I don't want to pay $6.95 shipping for one pack of cartomizers.

An even lower-priced shipping option such as first-class mail being available for orders with a total weight of less than, say, 6oz. would be awesome.

The FDA's memory suggests about 7:1 bad American versus Import over the last five years.

Check out the FDA's product safety database and their food safety database.

But given that the vast majority of what we consume comes from China, then statistically it's radically higher than that even by volume.

Chronic xenophobia is contagious, generally the vector is the media. They, not China, should be avoided at all costs in order to stem the tide of this epidemic.

My thoughts exactly :thumb: Thanks Adrenalynn :toast:

Given the vast number of Chinese imports our country consumes, the percentage of recalled items is not as high as the media portrays it to be. And yes, there have been plenty of American-made product recalls in recent history as well.

If someone is so inclined to fear all imports from China, I would challenge them to spend even one day without using ANY Chinese imports. Just make sure they check the origin of all the ingredients in their foods, where all their health and beauty products (as well as the individual ingredients in each) are made, and where their clothes (especially shoes) are from. Good luck ;)

The sheer fact that V4L sends an employee to work directly with the factories that supply their inventory shows how much QC means to them. And remember - the employees and president also USE the products they sell ;)

Tasty Vapor ships to Canada for 11-12 dollars which is very reasonable. I'm not sure why other US venders don't follow TV as they are missing out on a huge market, with the ecig market growing everyday and every tom .... and harry starting a site venders need to be competitive in new markets. If its less than 3 bottles of juice I don't see why it needs to be tracked the postal service is pretty reliable on both sides of the border.

Well when I order thru V4L I'am lucky as I have a PO box in Washington state that is only 20min drive so I don't get dinged on the higher cost of shipping .

but compared to all other E-tailers I use there shipping is $2 less so $4.95
it would be great if V4L could meet this shipping price but it seems to move faster to my mailbox then the others so ah $2 is what a coffee so meh :glare:
