I'm not in Canada, but I know there has been other members that are from Canada and have ordered stuff from the US. I have heard that orders with juice in it may be detained by Canadian customs and returned, and sometime even if the juice is zero nicotine. If you want low prices, you may also consider ordering from Fasttech. They're located in China and if you don't mind the wait (it takes about 2 weeks for my orders from them to make it from China to the US), you can save quite a bit.

I was looking at their site earlier, great prices! As long as it isn't juice, I think it'll be ok. Is everything from their site authentic?

Oh my goodness no.

However...

However? Please elaborate. Lol. If I shouldn't buy from fasttech, are there other sites with similar prices? (i.e. Low ones?) I don't really know where to start with these American sites. All I know is that I'm looking to save some money while still getting high quality and authentic gear.

Fasttech, from whom I have shopped regularly for the past couple of months, have two categories of items. The ones they declare as "authentic" are genuinely authentic and I myself have verified the codes. The ones they declare as "styled" are clones, for the greater part 1:1 clones and mostly very good quality. Practically all the RDAs I possess are clones I have bought from them for next to nothing and they are all very good. Plus, if you are not satisfied with an item or it is DOA they will refund or replace no questions asked. I bought one Caravella that came without a spring in the switch. I wrote to them and they replaced, not just the spring, or the switch but the whole mod. Personally I am pleased with their service.

That's great to know, I'll be checking their site again for sure tonight. I figured that was the case. Thank you! :)

Hi, sailor

I've ordered frequently from the US (no liquids) and have not had a single problem.

However, while doing your cost comparisons, be aware that international shipping rates are higher than domestic ones, and that the currency exchange rate at the present time is going to up the price significantly. My most recent order, picked up last week, totalled $187.50 USD before shipping. With shipping and currency exchange it came to $305.03 CAD.

So, calculate your total cost from a Canadian site, and then from the American (or otherwise) site before deciding.

I've not yet ordered anything from Fasttech, so can't comment on that.

Not to push Fasstech or anything but one thing that keeps me going there is the free worldwide shipping which saves me a great deal of money. You can make Fasttech quote you the price in CAD. At the moment the rate of exchange they are offering is CAD1.22 for US$1. That said I always pay in US$ or GBP as the case my be because my own bank always gives me a better rate of exchange than either any site or even Paypal does.

Love fasttech for years.

There is one simple trick.

Fasttech has a massive community and forum. With some diehard users who dissect everything and scrutinize every picture and product.

On every item page is a reviews tab and a discussions tab.

Clone or authentic doesnt matter, what everyone thinks about the product quality is whats importaint. Reading these tabs will help you avoid bad gear, know what to expect, and if its any good and what issues people are having.

In many cases of bad products there will even be posts saying like- this one sucks, sku # xxxxxx is the better one.

Some of the posts can be quite amusing as well.

If a product has no posts, then its your call to take a chance

The only times ive had problems I ignored the reviews and took a chance anyways or decided to risk an unreviewed item

A good example is I wanted the cthulhu tank. The product got trashed for missing insulators and also leaking. Everyone said wait. The new one now has 4+ star reviews because the feedback forced fasttech to get a better made clone.

I have never had a juice order not get over the boarder. Used to order just under 400 ml. at a time. Now that I mix my own, I order from Mount Baker Vapor big jug of Carmel Coffee in 0 and just add the nicotine myself. Never had a problem but ordering in 0 there is zero percent chance it can be stopped. CHEERS!

I've successfully received about 10 different juice orders from the US. Quantities varied between 30 and 150ml. The most juice I've imported is from Yaeliq in Israel. Minimum 400ml, maximum 600ml per order.

The only customs issues I've read about have entered the country through Richmond but I don't know if that means anything.
