Hi Everyone,

I am new to the forum and to ecigs. I got my ecig (501) starter kit yesterday and me and my husband are in shock and awe. I have smoked since I was 13 years old and tried soooooo many times to quit. Twice I made it over a year, then relapsed. But the ecigs are AMAZING!!! It is so weird to go from having this problem all of your life to boom, solved, in just one minute. I keep trying to test myself to see if I want a "real" cigarette and I don't! How have I not known about them before?? When I think of all of the torture I have put myself through with cold turkey nightmares, patches, gum, guilt and one time losing it so bad I grabbed my husband by the throat.........well wow. Wow wow wow. I cannot even describe the amazing sense of relief I feel.

Also its so weird to not have the time constraints, the trying to find a safe place to smoke, the smell......I could go on and on but I guess you guys already know that it's like living with this leash on you for years and suddenly being able to move freely.

Ok so where can I order blank cartomizers and juice for good value, with good quality. I have looked around at the stores recommended but some only have strong juice (I need low to medium), some only sell juice but no cartomizers or batteries......Is there a store that has it all in one place? I would prefer a one stop shop.....

Also if you were new what would your recommend I order for basic needs? I really appreciate any advice.

Congrats. I'm expecting my first kit tomorrow. Can't wait. On Sunday I was at a bar and mentioned e-cigs and this girl whipped out hers and let me have a puff. And I thought it was really good. Can't give you any advice, but I did order a couple of different flavors and a PCC. If it all works out I will get a USB pass-through since I work at home. I found one for the 501 reasonably priced at Kingpin. Good luck and see you on the board.

glowgirl, congrats! This e-cig thing IS amazing. I had quit for years at a time too only to go right back whenever personal tragedy struck and things got to be too much. I feel that now that I have this I'll be OK when dealing with life's curveballs. I don't feel the pressure that this is a behavior that I need to worry about "giving up" and that's HUGE!

jjrose, congrats to you too! There's a guy that posts in the Michigan vapers social forum who's opening a store in either Grand Rapids or Holland, MI. His idea is to have different kinds of e-cigs and devices like USB passthroughs and stuff set up with cartridges for people to try in the store before they buy. Great idea, don't you think?

Congrats! As a closet smoker for 25 years, I also felt like a chain had been cut. It's a great feeling!

Speaking only from personal experience, litecigusa.net and liquidxpress.com are two places that can fulfill all of your needs. There are lots of other great suppliers on this forum, but these two both carry the 510 cartomizers. They have had quite a run on them lately, though, so you may have to wait a little for blank ones.

I think you'll find the best tasting juices from places that make their own. Since they are the manufacturer they tend to only carry juice. Then you'll find a place that has good prices on the hardware and good service. But I don't think you'll find a place that has the hardware and really good juice.

Hi Glow, welcome! I think we all know exactly what you mean by Wow! Just wait until you get into all the flavors. It absolutely blew my mind the first time a tasted a real flavor (apple).

Toward the bottom of the main page, you'll find tons of approved vendors. I'd stick with them. I personally like LiteCigUSA.net for most of my hardware needs. Once you decide to play with juice, you might want to try DIYflavorshack or MsTsBakery, there are some yummy things to be had! Also, don't be afraid to learn how to DIY. Lots of fun and it can be less expensive.

Enjoy!

Welcome Glow! I'm so glad you are enjoying vaping! I felt the same way when I started, I still do actually.
The next phase for me was thinking there just had to be something wrong with them somewhere - just general doubting. So, in case you begin to enter that phase let me tell you; I've studied these thing up, down, and sideways and can't find a glitch in them anywhere. From everything I've read they are absolutely safe and so's the nicotine.

Just sent directly from my wildest dreams. Incredible.
