Well I just got my Nicoticket Custards Last Stand and Creme Brulee. Right out of the mail they smelled absolutely delicious. They were born 5 days ago. I just wasnt satisfied with the flavor on either with the initial test and feel the vapor on the CLS was a little low (50/50). Maybe I am just not a creme/custard kind of guy. Now dont get me wrong they arent bad by any means and I will continue to let them steep and keep trying them. I guess from reading all the reviews I got a lil over zealous about something I had never tried before. It was a let down but time will definitely tell. Worst comes to worst...they will be good back ups for when I run low or need a change of pace. Again, these are not bad flavors at all I am just going to chalk this up to not my taste for the time being.

We all have been disappointed by rave reviews, suggestions from friends and "this juice is the best!" kind of information. I know some folks don't live near a shop that lets you try our flavors before buying, but unless you are willing to spend allot of money on a pig in a poke, this will happen. ( hey...pig in a poke sounds like a good name for a juice?) Just look at all the unused, unliked, unwanted juices people offer for sale or swap here. I agree that you should let them steep for a bit, it can't hurt.

When I first received these 2 I let them steep for the appropriate time and loved them for about a week. I noticed they seemed to gunk up my coils and even coil changes couldn't bring back that initial flavor. I took to adding just a drop of sweet and a drop of vanilla to freshen the flavor and they are ok, but not like they first were.

Others say they get even better as they age more, but that wasn't what I'm experiencing. I'll still try them about once a week to see how they are doing but probably won't reorder. Shame, they were wonderful when I received them.

But taste is subjective...

I was very disappointed with Nicoticket's CLS and CB as well, even after lots of steeping. I love these flavours, so fortunately, I have other alternatives for vanilla custard and creme brulee (outside of Grant's, which I still haven't been able to snag).

But hey....some juices people hype about I love too. Can't win them all. :vapor:

Remember that what one person thinks is delicious, another will think its nasty. We all have our taste preference. I have some vanilla tobacco that I just love, smooth and flavorful, but my hubby says its too mild... I also have vanilla butternut that's out of this world, he says its ok but sticks to his peach tobacco. His tastes are way different than mine.

I'd let it steep. Some juices turn from Ok to yummy after steeping.

that's how I felt when I first got them
especially so many said their great out of the mail'

but after 3-4 weeks they got amazing
and its one of the few places I reorder regularity
Well I felt that way when I first ordered them. Felt that way 30 days later and again 60 days later. Smelled them before I listed them and I knew they were not for me. I know plenty of folks LOVE them but I am not one.
I know plenty of others like yourself.

You are not the only ones. I remember when I would first get an NT juice, vape it immediately and consider it good(though CLS pretty much never tastes 'custardy'). Based on how good they tasted FOOB I would immediately order bigger bottle(s) so I would have a massive amount in my steeping drawer.

Only recently did I go back to them because by this steeping period(6-8 weieks)-they should've been 'vape heaven'. Sadly I discovered what you are all talking about. My juices have very faint/weak flavor. My biggest disappointment was my last order of Frenilla & Radioactive(both "limited" flavors). The hype surrounding Frenilla is ridiculous so I thought this may be the juice for me!! Bought a 50mL bottle since it was supposed to be the 'best vanilla flavor ever'. And i also bought a 30mL of the Radioactive since the beta test of that flavor was so good. Imagine my fleeting hopes(which were quickly dashed against the rocks of despair) when this new bottle of Radioactive tasted bland, flavorless, and nothing like the beta recipe. I was bummed.

One juice I did enjoy a lot was The Virus. But now-with over 2/3 of a bottle left, every time I attempt vaping it again the strange flavor turns me off after 5-10 minutes.

I'm very disheartened over my Frenilla though. After a month long steep-this stuff tastes like a bottle of water with one vanilla extract drop added. It's awful. Nothing against the vendor because taste is INDEED subjective. And maybe my tastebuds just don't 'get' Kent's juices.

I gotta say though-I never believed in the 'reverse steeping' myth until I purchased from This particular vendor. Again, no disrespect intended. I'm just voicing my honest thoughts about these juices. Loved them when they arrived to my home...and then after steeping, the juices just 'fell apart' and became mucky and unremarkable. It's a shame. I was hoping I found all my favorite juices due to the first taste out of the mailbox.

But I am continuing to learn every day and am more restrained when I read about how 'great' an ejuice is. And I can resist immediately buying it based only on fan responses.

On a more positive note-keep exploring. I have and have discovered some pretty great juices from various vendors.

Vape on :)

EDIT: 'weeks'...not 'weieks'!!!

I love some of the juices...in fact, I love most of NT juices. However, there are one or two that don't do it for me. I would offer to buy them, but that is against the TOS in ECF...I will look in the classies to see if they show up. I hate to see anyone get 'stuck' with a juice that I vape daily and love.

On another note, I didn't see what was so great about the Virus when I first tried it. I had only been off stinkies for about 45 - 60 days and I wonder if my taste buds were still recovering. I say this because, now it is a favorite, fresh out of the box or with a healthy steep..does not matter. I am one of those who loves the CB and just really likes the CLS.

My tastes change frequently. Sometimes I am all about the fruity flavors with Gravity being my ADV and then I am back into the bakeries or the Virus line. Taste is truly subjective. For those who don't like the juice and post in Classifieds, I will keep my eyes open. These situations are a perfect reason for new members to get verified so they can post in classifieds.

Glad to hear Im not alone in this. I will say that NT's customer service was out of this world and because of that I will likely try another flavor or two at some point from them. In the mean time can anyone point me in the direction of a great Vanilla. I know taste is subjective...yada yada but I love me some vanilla and just need some fresh places to shop.

Was the Frenilla flavorful for you, Glow? Like...what flavors did you get from it? I'm sad that my tongue is t tasting any of the flavor. Other vanillas and custards I can taste fine though(except for VCV Vanilla Custard)...

Oh heck yeah-GREAT customer service! What kinda vanilla are you looking for? Custard? French Vanilla? Cakes?

EDIT: I am STILL buying every vanilla I find that has a good reputation, because I have different types I like to vape. I'm slowly branching out and trying some light cinnamons and black cherry flavors(though I don't normally like fruit vapes)...

Well I am not so sure that a custard is in order after being disapointed with CLS. I have a french vanilla from MBV that is ok. I guess I am looking for more of a Vanilla bean style. Nice strong vanilla yet creamy as well.

My first Nicoticket trials were Gravity and Creme Brulee. Both smelled awesome the day they arrived. Gravity I vaped right away, loved it and still do. CB, I waited a couple of days and enjoyed it too. So, I moved forward and ordered Betelgeuse (excellent), Frenilla, and Radioactive.

I let Radioactive sit a week...liked it but to be honest, I did add it to about 1ml of peach I had in the tank so with a couple drops of Frenilla added to that combo it was even better for me. Radioactive hasn't had a stand alone taste test yet so..... Frenilla, I haven't tried on its own but I definitely will very soon and I can tell it'll be great for smoothing out some of the juice I have around that I didn't quite care for.

In the future, I'll be ordering some CLS to try and will reorder Gravity, CB, Betelgeuse, and Frenilla. I will probably skip Radioactive...I guess tobaccos are not for me.

Oh, agreed, customer service is outstanding. Don't be shy about hopping over to the Nicoticket sub forum here on ECF. Kent is always open to talking about the good and the bad.

I am on the same page as far as this goes... the custard is very average for me. I drip it every now and then to see if it has changed or if my palate likes it more (I've had it for several months now and it is very dark and well steeped), but I just find it a very mediocre vanilla vape. My favorite vanilla is still Very Vanilla from Sweet Vapes. I highly recommend it for people looking for a very creamy, rich, ice cream type of vanilla. It's worth a try.
