Shopping cart...

It is getting really bad. I went from viewing the cart to switches & it dropped $50 worth of items. I added the switches & it added them to whatever cart it had decided to use. It wasn't my current one... I closed the tab.
Ok, just went back to the page, the cart I wanted was there. I didn't view it, just saw the total @ the top of the page. I added some things without viewing the cart & it worked. I viewed the cart & then clicked on another page. The cart total changed.8-o
Any ideas?

Sounds like the cart was resident from the last time you had a session? Many sites do that. The way to beat it is to add everything in the wishlist and then move it over at payment. That way you can shop several times on WL without losing your list. Sites with true active totals from the db tend to do it more.

I thought that about the cart, but it's not. Not long ago, it would straighten out when I added something. I guess it doesn't like me anymore...

Perhaps you need to only have the Continue Shopping, Update Cart or Proceed to Checkout links displayed on the Shopping Cart page?

Following any other link after making changes/adding to my cart emptied the entire cart for me.
