Keeping in mind that I've never seen a disassembled Mag 2... If the Mag 2 is like the Mag 1 or the authentic Madz Modz Nzonic of which it was loosely based on and copied from...

You have a disc magnet set into the button shaft "contact" - then you have an intermediate floating contact shaft with a magnet inset into it. Press the button and magnetic resistance forces the intermediate contact into the battery negative... until everything bottoms out, and you have electrical conductivity.

If the above is correct, you can reduce travel two different ways. One is to add a spacer under the button contact head (magnetic end)... which moves it closer, and reduces the gap to the intermediate shaft. The second method is to add another disc magnet on top of the button contact... which has the same effect of reducing the gap to the intermediate shaft.

If you follow the second route, the quickest way to do it is to buy the adhesive backed and correctly dimensioned magnets from Dennis at Fat Daddy Vapes... via his eBay listing.
