Silverback Mod - Switch has Zero Throw?

hey all, I'm having a bit of an issue with my new Silverback mod. The main reason why I got it is because I loved the feel of the firing button. However, when I put a battery in (both 18650 and 18350) and tighten down the mod enough to eliminate battery rattle, my switch basically has zero throw.
It seems like either the black plastic delrin ring isn't sitting high enough, or the metal contact point does not sit low enough. I've tried adjusting both parts, but neither seem to budge. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

what are you using on top ? Does it have a long 510 pin ?

I've tried using the vape jam atty and it seems to fit fine. the buttons throw is still greatly reduced either way when everything is tightened until no battery rattle. I went to a couple local shops and they all told me this is how the button is supposed to work and there's nothing I can do. is this foreal??

Is the switch actually working? If you remove the switch bottom from the battery case is it any different? (or with the battery out)?
