Hi, looking around FT fof the shortest, good quality mech since my K100 is a bit too long, fat and rough and I get blisters on my fingers since the edges of the sleeve are so sharp.

I exclusively use 18350 + kick combo so my choices atm are: Pisces, Atom, Private V2 or Sentinel M16 clones.

So is the Pisces clone (Kylin) the shortest I can get or should I choose another?

Thanks in advance!

The Kylin will work with a kick and 18350 battery but the 4Nine is a bit shorter at 67 mm in 18350+kick mode. Hope that helps. Enjoy the day!:2cool:
Hi, and yes, the 4nine is dang short, but no central pin, so hard to impossible to kick. I was thinking a lit, but the flush top cap of the Pisces turned me off and I just ordered a Nemi. Hope it will fit a kick and a 18350 while in 500 mode.

Also, can someone confilm the Nemesis is 75mm long in 18500 mode?

@Roccov: Thanks for measuring it, I guess 77 mm is also fine.. I was thinking 75 after I saw the aluminum 18500 Nemis on FT where the guys state "75 mm" in the product description, but I guess the aluminum tubes are 2 mm shorter? Is this length PLUS the smallest tube/ring or just with the 500 tube alone and, if with the extra tube/ring, can you try fitting a kick without it - only by using the 500 tube? Thanks again.

@WattWick: Will do! So tired of the loooooong throw of my K100 :/

The one I bought (steel tubes): https://www.fasttech.com/p/1736802

Glycerol, (guessing sir) The aluminum nemi you linked does not have a kick ring. That's where the 2mm difference comes in. You will be much better off on the steel one in regard to conductivity as well as adjustability. You will need the base tube with the switch and the small extension tube (third from left in the breakdown picture). Both the switch and the 510 connection are adjustable so you probably will not have to shave it down. As Watt stated, you must be very careful if thinking of going that route. Let us know what you think when you get it in and if there are further questions. Enjoy the day!:2cool:

Hi again. Well, all I'm reading about the Nemesis clone tells me it's almost a perfect device, so I'll make sure to use it first "as is" and see how that goes. I got used to keep the K100 always unlocked in my pocket because of its long throw and stiff spring, so a long throw can be both an inconvinience and an advantage to me, so I'll carefully inspect the construction, "feel" the device for a week and then make decisions about modding the button or upgrading to a magnetic switch.

Can you confirm I can fit a 18350 + kick WITHOUT the "kick ring" in the 500 tube alone?

Thanks again.

!
Whatever you do, avoid the Private V2 clone by EHPro. I can't speak on any other clone makers but the EHPro version is garbage.
Mine is plagued by hot button arcing between the button and lock ring (can actually see micro-arcing at the seam). I can fix it temporarily with steel wool and metal polish, but in 10 minutes it's back to where it was, trying to give me a 3rd degree burn on my pinky.
