Should all LR attys be marked on casing?

I just received some LR attys (I think) from a couple of venders and they do not have any LR markings on the out side of them. All LR attys I have ordered in the past, all have had the LR marking on the outside them. I contacted one vendor and he said some have the LR on them and some don't. I don't know. But it would seem to me that when these are manufactured that they would have the LR mark on them so you would know which are and which aren't LR. Haven't been a vaper that long to be able to just look at a 510 atty and be able to tell which is a LR and which one isn't. Too me, it just seems strange that the LR attys wouldn't have an LR mark on the outside casing. Any thought's? Anyone....

Absolutely. I have only bought Joye's and from one source, but they have all had LR stamped on the battery end.

It'd be nice if they all were but some aren't, I've received non Joye ones that are marked and some that aren't/

The ones I got this week from Eastmall are all marked on the outside which is great.

i got some from cyberwolf and mine are like that, LR on the bat end.

I've heard tell that most of em are marked, but some factories don't mark em. Not sure which.

I wish they would all mark them. the only ones I've tried athat are marked are the joye's Lr (on battery end like posted above) and TW's marked on the gold band on the side.

I've always marked my attys with my girlfriends nailpolish to tell between flavors. So it's not a huge deal for me to mark them and tell.

Both silver/blk have no markings on them. I tried a blk one out yesterday and I have a feeling they made a mistake and sent me non-LR attys. Will shoot em a e-mail in the am. I'm sure they will take care of it as, I've brought quite of things from them. The silver one's, tried one of em today and definitely LR atty's.. Thanks again.....

Yes this makes sense. However, when the first batches of these were ordered, I think most people didn't think to get them marked, as daft as it sounds. I know I was one of those, it was only once I received them that I thought 'whoops, these should be marked'. Also, some suppliers don't really offer that service, I have BE 112's etc and I don't know if they will mark them, there might be a MOQ for them to do so.

I too agree they should be marked and the ones that are marked on the bottom threads are not easy to see. Totally Wicked LRs are real easy to see on the outside gold band and have always been my fav.

If you don't have an ohm meter, it might be a good idea to head down to Radio Shack and pick up a cheapie... or find one at harbor freight or even e-bay.....

I check and track the resistance on my attys frequently, before and after cleaning and ocasionally when I'm not getting the vape I think I should be getting.... Also helps to sort them out if you mix them up.....

yes, but checking the resistance periodically is helpful- especially when you aren't getting the vape you expect.

I used to have a multimeter but it was somehow lost when I moved so I ordered another one, hopefully it'll be here soon as they are very useful for PV's

I agree, it is important to check the Ohms of new LR attys that you get to see if they are as advertised too. I have received the same LR attys from 2 different suppliers and have found them to measure totally different not only from each other but from the advertised claim.

As far as I know all LR attys that I have received also have the LR markings....
Like the one I am using right now states: "LR-EM5" have no ideal what the
EM5 means...must be an internal thing....
