i currently have a black chrome red led provari v1, i really really want a provari v2 black satin with blue LED. should i buy it and sell my v1 when it comes to help recoup some of the money? cant afford to keep them both or i would. my only issue really lies in how much could i sell my v1 for? my OH has pretty much OK'd the whole thing under the pretense that i will be able to sell my v1. im just not sure how much of the money i can recoup doing this. i wanted the black with blue LED in the first place, but i was impatient, and as soon as i bought this one, they announced the v2 which kinda made me mad. what would you do?

I read on another post that you can have your V1 upgraded to V2 you just have to write to provape and they will tell you how . I hear that that is only about $20 so that maybe an alternative for you . I don't know how much you can get for your V1 so you could even just keep it as a backup .
i want the satin with blue LED, the v2 thing doesnt matter to me really, i just want the finish and the blue lights. can't keep them both, just not feasible financially. gotta sell the old one to recoup the loss.
You can get your V1 upgraded to a V2 for $20. ProVape won't do the upgrade with the blue LED, so I know that's not a perfect solution, just thought I'd mention it in case you weren't aware of the upgrade.

Even though its only a 20 dollar upgrade you would get more for it if its a v2. That's what the hype is right now and that's what people will look at first. I would send it in for an upgrade just for the resale value would be more than the 20$ it would cost you. Resale value on a provari is pretty high but as soon as the v2 came out the v1 interest might not be that big.
Yea...sell you V1 for $139.00 and get the new one! I love the new Black Satin finish with Blue LED! I'm with you Batsu, I could care less about the V2 upgrade, so I think many will not care when you resell! The good news is the Provari is a device that actually has some good resell value!
I love my red led satin provari! Just wondering why the blue led is so important?Dont get me wrong,I love the blue but...for me the red is fine.
I think it's not really all that important, but it is a defining factor for most. Just like we all don't buy the same color car, having a choice between outside finishes and inside color is nice.
Personally I like the red on the black satin, but think the blue will contrast nicely with the chrome and the satin silver models and thus bought accordingly.
Yes...I have the Blue LED, and like it...but the truth is, when vaping the device, I could care less what color the light is! I think the Blue LED is a bit more rare, so people tend to gravitate toward it!
If your concern is beyond cosmetics ( satin and blue led ), you can simply upgrade your current V1 to a V2 for $20.
I'm in the same boat as you, btw. And yeah I'm a little ticked off that I buy a V1 and the V2 come out right after. Now I have to be without my ProVari while it gets upgraded...
BatSu, what do you use for a backup to your provari? Would be nice to be able to try and keep them both. Tough trying to find a backup to compare it to if you know what i mean... Good luck
