Should I buy a Spinner and Mini T3?

College student, I'm currently on a volt 78mm with cartos. I want to upgrade to the spinner (shortest one) and mini t3 so I can get a lot more vapor and have it be short enough to take with me to parties.

How are the T3 minis, do they leak a lot? I intend to party with them in my pocket, will this break them? If they aren't durable, is there another brand or product I should get instead?

Finally, if anyone has a mini t3 with a spinner and doesn't mind uploading a pic I would be greatly appreciative. Looks are going to be a big factor in my decision.

Hi and welcome to Smokeless Image! :)

I am very satisfied with the mini T3 and 650mah Volt spinner (blue in the middle). I've had no leaking issues at all with it and is one of my on-the-go setups.

You might also consider getting a few T4 mini clearos for your 78mm Volts as well. Sorry I don't have a picture of one but they also produce great vapor and flavor that will keep your 78s in your daily rotation as well.

Only problem is, if you put it in your pocket and it bends (like when you sit down and it's in your back pocket), it could crack where the plastic tube meets the metal base. Then it would leak like crazy. You could get a lanyard. FT has a lot of cool ones (silver chains, leather cord, etc.) that don't look like dorky referee whistle lanyards (but they have those too).

IMO Spinners are the only way to go with T3s (mini and regular). I have the best luck with them at 3.8-4.1V (slightly higher than X2s). EVODs are tough (plastic encased in aluminum), but you could still break off the plastic mouthpiece and you'd need an adapter and beauty ring (unless you get a regular eGo-type Spinner/Twist, like in JoAnn's pic above).

I set up my nephews with 650mAh Spinners and mini-T3s and they love that setup. Perfect size and they take it everywhere. Charge is in line with volume too (batt runs out of charge right about when the mini-T3 needs a refill).

The minis work OK on an X2, but I cussed like crazy with the regular ones. I liked them a lot better with slightly higher voltage. But I like EVODs, Vision VTs and carto tanks more.

YMMV - there was one guy who was OK with them on X2s, and posted all over the place that he regretted the Spinner upgrade.

The mini t4s interest me a lot! Is there a brand thats favored around here for working well with volts?

SI calls their T4 the "Volt mini clearomizer."

Thanks! Just ordered one. I'd like to make these last me longer than 3 days like those nanos did.

Do I need to hold in in a certain direction while I vape, make sure the liquid doesn't get below a certain level, how do I clean them and how often should I? Sorry for all the questions, besides the disaster nanos I haven't had any experience beyond cartos.

I've had them in my purse and sometimes they would be upside down and none have leaked. Maybe I've just been lucky but they work out great. Just rinse them under hot running water, shake the water out and let them air dry overnight. Much easier to care for and change flavors then the nano.

You can use the Volt mini clearo on all of the Volt batteries as well (X2s, spinners) but I prefer the mini T3 for the spinners. It just looks better to me.

As others have suggested, get the XL carrying case so you can carry your favorite juice and extra batteries safely. It can clip to your belt loop as well. The same for the little keychain case. It holds a lot for it's size.

Get a lanyard for the one you are vaping while on the dance floor to have immediate access and keeping it safe. Don't want that flying across the room.

I was going to get the XL carrying case but I ordered the regular volt carrying case by mistake. I think I prefer it cause it isn't so big. I can put 2 spinners and 3 mini T3's in it. Although they aren't in their separate compartments cause it's made of the 78's.

Would a 650 spinner fit in the keychain case? Maybe a spinner and a mini T3?

The Spinner should last a lot longer than one mini T3 fill. I'm on half of my 3rd refill while on the same 650 spinner charge.

I had to try it first. A 650, mini T3 and a couple of 78s fit in there, unassembled of course but they do fit. Even a small bottle of juice will fit. The little keychain case holds quite a lot for it's size. Where there is a will.... ;)

I don't know but I am gonna order some and I will post back and let you know

If you get a couple of em, one can hold the juice and toppers while the other holds the spinner(s). I really like those little cases.

If you have an old pair of gloves, cut the fingers off and put your spinners in them to prevent them from rubbing together. You don't want the finish to get scratched.

What about a 650 and 2 mini T3's? Or 2 650's and 1 mini T3? Or is that pushing it?
