I'm going to buy a Provari 2.5 and wait and see how the P3 turns out. I'm looking at a used one right now in black satin with the extension cap. The price is good, but I will need to buy batteries and a charger. I'm not sure of the battery life or sizes I will need, guess a look again at the Provape site. I have a few questions. I use mostly IB Tanked 19mm tanks and still wish to use them so will they fit or do I need an adapter? I also am interested in the life of a batteries on a daily basis. I don't use high voltage now so don't intend to later. Should I use the 18650 batteries for the most part? Should I purchase 2 or 4 batteries? When did the 2.5 come out, and last but not least should I be purchasing a new 2.5. I can afford either but saving money is still saving money.

Thank you

Speed

Hey Speed,

Is it a mini? The mini with extender uses AW 18490 IMR batteries (at least ProVape ships the AWs). You can get the batts and a charger from ProVape for a reasonable price. Although, the charger that ProVape sells can be had on Amazon more cheaply. This is it Amazon.com : Tenergy TN270 Li-ion 18500/18650/14500 Fast Battery Charger : Tenergy Car Charger : Camera & Photo Actually Provapes charger is only 17.95 so if you are already getting their batteries at 11 to 14 each, then you may as well get the charger too to save shipping.

I use mostly IBT 19mm and they work great, no adapter required,

As to the battery life...I need to know if it is a mini or not and what ohm carto at what voltage to figure that out. But I vape the daylights out of my mini on a 2.0 ohm carto at 3.8 volts and the battery lasts all day. Either way, always buy extra batteries. How many will again depend on if you are looking at full size or mini.

Hope that helps. I would say if the price is right snag it up. :)

OK Batteries....all IMR only

Full with extender: one 18650 required
Full OR Mini with extender: one 18490 required
Mini: one 18350 required

I usually get two batteries with each device and that has worked fine.

I sold all my ProVaris except for my red Mini, which I bought used. I wouldn't be concerned about buying a used ProVari, especially from this group.

The IBTanked devices are my choice for the ProVari and with a 3.0ohm SMOK single coil carto running at 5.2v I can vape all day in '350 mode. I say go for it!

The nice thing about the blems is that they come with a warranty, which the ones from the classies don't. Unless you have your heart set on a specific color, I highly recommend the satin silver. They are media blasted and don't show wear the way the colors do. Also if they get a ding or scratched it is very hard to see. The blems are perfectly working models that just have some kind of minor cosmetic blemish. Most people never figure out what the blemish is. My first 'Vari was a mini satin silver blem and it took two years for the blem to make itself know. The printed ProVari logo rubbed off. Oh boo hoo. Lol!

I'm in contact with the owner and should make the purchase tomorrow. Listed as like new condition so it's a go for me. Now I need to learn all about quality batteries and a good charger which won't burn my home down. I was very pleased to know my IB Tanks will fit perfectly on the Porvari. It's a good deal so I can't pass it up.

I bought 7 Provari directly and about 10 from the classifieds. There wasn't any difference in quality between them. Even the early version models I bought.

It all depends on if you want specific colors :)

You'll be happy with your purchase, I'm sure!
Wow too bad they don't sell stock. Actually you need to work in their sales department.

I think the P3 turned out fantastic! I have only used my P3 since I bought it.
Provape really did a wonderful job with the P3! It is hard to use my other Provaris now.

I think it is perfectly fine to buy a used Provari 2.5.
Never had a problem with any of my Provaris.
I have a P3, 2 mini 2.5, a full size Dragon 2.5 and a Provape1

I have not bought a used Provari but I would think it is a sound buy.
The best part is Provape will fix it for a small fee if something is wrong.
I would still buy another 2.5. I love the reliability and quality!
They Just Work!

Good luck
