They are just gouging as much as humanly possible. Especially since there are no brick and mortar stores anywhere around.

I also love how the sales guy kept trying to screw a 510 carto onto my 808 bat...
lol i kind of want to see that one. ya i called a bunch of smokes shops trying to find liquid when i first started noone had a clue what i was talking about...

You guys are being a bit cynical about the location aren't you?

I've visited Colorado E-Smokes before in the Aurora location. They apparently have five or six locations across Colorado.

Their "full" 510 kit is running at a hundred bucks, which is in essence overpriced.. but have you asked further to see what justifies the price? Apparently not from what posts I'm reading here.

Their products come with a full 1-year replacement warranty. I switch my atomizers out regularly on a bi-weekly basis for free. Even if the atomizers are still working, but not working 100%, they will switch it out with a proof of purchase. For free! Unlimited times throughout the year!

They'll replace the li-ion batteries if they lose charge, PCCs if they lose charge, lose brackets, the spring, whatever, and wall-chargers if they're being fidgety.

As for Rivas, they sell them too. So blowing out your Riva (whoever posted this) wouldn't really do anything. Apparently they're selling tank Atomizers as well now. $20 for the atomizer, with unlimited 1-year part warranty on it.

So how much are 510 tank attys online? $6-10? Let's assume it's $6. I'm replacing mine once every week. We'll even say two weeks. Do the math, and you've got great value.

The only thing I'll really complain about over there (at the Aurora location) is that there are some new associates that don't know much about what they're talking about. They just need some training is all. Also liquids are quite pricey there, albeit they taste pretty good. I believe it's a 65PG-30VG 5 nic/flavoring mix.

Anyways, that's just my two cents. A lot of the posts here in my opinion are pretty biased and the company was overlooked badly.

I took a trip to Florida to visit my younger brother at one point, sent them an atty through mail and they mailed one back free. LOL

I mean how can you go wrong with that? I was using my spare atty while the other was being sent.

The location you are talking about might be better than mine?? I would say it is. Reread my post #12 . They had no juice, and told me (no they are not refillable) Just come back and buy more carto's. (They sold no atty's) So I don't think I was to hard on MY location, and I am sure there is alot more just like them. They will make a quick buck and when a brick and mortar store opens they will be history. That same kit can be bought at a few convience stores and liquor stores in my town for $15 dollars. What would you call it, if not a ripoff??

Often I am quite cynical, but...

My wife was out of juice on a Friday night, so no chance of getting anything from my usual vendors until early the next week. I had heard that the mall kiosks carried juice, so I headed to the mall on the way home from work... I was shocked when I was presented with a bottle 1/2 the size of the bottles I typically get for 6 times the price. Both were Dekang Menthol... And yes, I had to pay $45 (plus sales tax) for 15ml of juice... What justifies the price here is greed and no local competition...

Yours might be a different company that the ones at the malls in New England, but...

Don't be mean to the kiosk man. :) My dad bought my first 510 kit from a kiosk. He paid $95! I'm really glad there was a kiosk selling these or I may have never started vaping. Money isn't a big issue for some people; my dad thought he got a bargain! :)
my first kit was like $40 with an extra pack of cartridges.. and a pack of smokes, it was from a smokes shop though, then i baught a kit for $70 from a different smoke shop, never tried the mall kiosks. my mom was amazed at the price of my first kit she thaught all e-cigs costed over $100 bucks. but still a rip off none the less givin what it was. but i said ill be nice to him if i go up there :)

Look around in the convience stores and liquor stores. My first kit (one small battery a PC charger and 2 cartomizers) cost 20 dollars and you can still buy them at that price. These are very basic kits just to try a e-cig out to see if you like them. My next kit was a Riva or Joye kit with larger longer lasting batteries and I still am using it, but I have bought 2 more larger Riva/Ego batteries (900 mAh). The original batteries are still working after 5 months and I vap alot. The Riva kit cost me $37 dollars with shipping.

My first ecig was from 711 store/gas station. $20.00 for the starter kit which included 1 battery, usb charger and 5 pre-filled cartomizers. I spent another $20.00 on I think it was five more pre-filled cartomizers. It was quickly after that I bought some 510's and some eGo-t's. Then a week later I bought a Reo Mini and Provari lol, I got my tax return back and was vape happy.

Was the company called Colorado E-Smokes? The only units they sell are 510s, super minis and Rivas all labeled to their own brand with replacement part warranties on all of them. They have no cartos for the super minis, only the 510.. and 15ml bottles at a quite pricey 20 bucks a pop. 15 each if you buy 4. They have two brick and mortar stores; one in Aurora and another in Colorado Springs.

I quess we both got lucky on our first kit, 20 Dollars that we paid, and not the 99 Dollars some others have paid for the SAME kit. My first encounter was with a E-cigarette was at our Mall and when the owner said it was $99 Dollars I thought OUCH and said, thanks I will think about it. Later found one at a liquor store for $20. (Same kit)

I was at the mall today and found a newly opened kiosk! I played dumb so I could try them out. Their 808 and carto was actually not too bad. If it was reasonably priced I would have bought one right there. I need to find what tobacco flavor they use because it is awesome.

Anyway

He kept up the sales pitch until I pulled out my reo grand. He then pulled out a silver bullet and we had an actual conversation about e cigs.

That GREAT. My mall people would be insulted showing them good stuff.
