Im gonna start by talking about myself. I have never really smoked before and i wouldnt like to start! I am trying to lose weightbut i miss the taste of these foods!! My friends were talking about these seemingly dangerless e-hookahs. I just want something that wont kill me, tastes nice and is fun! (Smoke trick wise) someone tell me whether this is the right decision or not! And I REALLY don't want to end up smoking baccy! Worst case scenario in my eyes no offense, and I don't want to be addicted to ANYTHING!!!

Thanks guys

Sam

Walk away, Sam.
Take up another "hobby".
Sam - see this. This is an example of the kind of people in any community. Please don't hold this one guy's attitude against us all.

Every e-liquid seller I've seen sells 0 nicotine flavors. You can pick from a myriad of flavors and have nothing addictive in your vape. There are a lot of different devices and styles to choose from. They all work well but some better than others plus everyone has their own personal preferences. I wish you lots of luck.

yep welcome but sorry man turn around, no reason to start something.
How is wanting to vape without getting addicted starting something? So, anyone who doesn't vape nicotine isn't welcome here? Just like anyone who asks honest questions gets marginalized? This community definitely needs to do some landscaping...

When I first started vaping and enjoying the different flavors, I though it would also be an excellent tool for other dependency cessation help. For those with an sweet or chocolate affliction, vape could be really helpful, get the taste and sugar cravings satisfied without gaining weight. Have an love for the other burning bush? Well, we have a vape for you. Love the taste of alcohol, but choose not to inside? Well, there is whiskey vape, Vanilla bourbon vape, and some others to.

Vape could be helpful to many. Vape in zero nicotine juice, can be very enjoyable with out risk of physical addiction or health issues. The only bad thing about vape is getting addicted to great mods, atomizers, and supporting paraphernalia.

My recommendations would to give it a shot, what do you have to lose? but maybe some weight., Buy at the minimum an inokin VV V3. A fairly inexpensive set up with some decent features.

I think those who are suggesting this would be a bad idea are speaking from concern. If you start vaping it might be tempting to try someone's juice, perhaps a friend's, who uses nicotine. Those of us who are ex-smokers know how VERY addicting nicotine can be. I for one, have stopped smoking three times, with about 10 years between as a non-smoker. Each time I had no intention of starting again, but after a few days of bumming cigarettes, I was buying packs and was hooked again. Also, while the consensus is that vaping is much safer than smoking, we still don't have long term data to support that it's completely safe.

My wife still smokes analogues and when she takes a toke off my 134 she gets a buzz and almost turns green. I have a feeling that if you had no tolerance for nicotine and toked on 2.4mg you'd prolly hurl and never want to touch the stuff again. LOL! Even lower dosage would prolly make you sick. This person seems like they're pretty adamant about no nicotine so I'm sure they'd take measures to avoid any mistakes. :)

There are many people in this community that continue to vape after reducing their nicotine to 0. Many of them will say that the hand mouth motion and the vapor is what what they are addicted to. So I can't see how anyone can say that vaping is not addictive if there is no nicotine.

Let's not forget that this great experiment we are all guinea pigs. There are serious questions about the health effects of some of the flavors we use. Even without that we are putting in foreign substances into our lungs day after day and no one can say what will happen in the long run.

I am convinced that vaping is far healthier than smoking but I would never recommend to a person who doesn't smoke

If a non smoking friend of mine came to me and asked the same question, I'd advise against starting. People will do as they choose to do, know matter how many people they ask though. If you feel you need to get more info, do as Caridwen suggested and read up on that. Not a thing wrong with being fully informed.
