Nobody? I figured once I had a few items that could be scavenged I'd put them in the PIF or some such. But if nothing is useful I can discard them.
Always keep things like that. You might need it a few years from now.. :) unless someone else wants it.. I always say to myself, I wish I hadnt thrown that out.. Lol

I don't plan on making any mods anytime in the near future, probably never will. Anyway, the first of my ego batteries died. Should I save things like this for you folks that like to play with electronic stuff?

To be totally honest with you,

If it is broke, it should be safely disposed of.

Ater all, it isn`t much use to anybody if it is dead. I don`t mean to offend, but just get rid.

Not offended. Just wanted to know if parts like the button or the chip thingie was of any use. I just hate to throw something out that might be salvageable in some way... which is why every once in a while I have to go through my kitchen on a de-clutter rampage to throw out all the coffee cans/cool whip containers/etc. that have accumulated because "I might need them".

Thats fine shakey,

I just don`t like the idea of leaving faulty batteries lying about.

I am only thinking of your safety, nothing else.:) BTW i think i have seen you on hoarders:facepalm:

9 times out of 10 it is a faulty electronics board or part on the board. Madvapes sells the board for these. If you want to buy one and ship it to me I will repair if for you at no cost. PM me if interested. Or if you don't care to mess with it, I will take it for parts, can make a lot from an old ego :) In that case just PM me and I will cover the cost of shipping.

Honestly I wouldn't bother with the cost of fixing them- parts are cheap but shipping costs makes it not worth it for me. But when I get a couple of them I'll let you know and you can have them.
