I like letting mine air out for just under 24 hours when they arrive. Take the cap and the nipple tip off and put in a cool, dark place where they can't get knocked over, then put it back together and give it a shake. Then I begin my steep time, a week minimum.

Usually I try the free samples after a week of steeping to give my actual order a little more time. For most of VW juices I find 2 weeks to be the sweet spot, but I'm not always that patient.

As probably you know, the color will change/darken over time. Here is a few of the bottles I have steeping at the moment:

Lemon Sansation: starts off almost clear with a slight yellow tinge. early on this will have a lemon & butter flavor.
Steeped: much darker yellow. flavor is sweet lemon & more cake (ish) @ two weeks.
So Berry Good: starts off clear and has good flavor. This one I can vape in a week.
Steeped: You might see a hint of pink, but still very clear. Very strong flavor.
Sweet Complexity: starts off the color of ice tea. flavors have not mixed well yet.
Steeped: very dark, strong, somewhat complex flavor. This one get better the longer you age it, two week minimum. BTW, This one is a coil killer.

I have several others steeping at the moment, but the ones I mentioned fall into three categories of steep times and color change.
