I've only ever used single coil cartos since I've started vaping 6 months ago. I started with LR Boge on my 3.7V eGo battery. Decided on the ProVari a month ago and think I have found my sweet spot around 4.4 on SR Boge cartos.

I hear a lot about these dual coils cartos and curious if I should try them out. Couple questions.

1) Do you notice a better flavor from your juice on a dual coil?
2) Are these available in LR and SR?
3) Is there a popular brand/site that most of you stick to?
4) How do they compare size-wise to a single coil? Wider? Longer?

Appreciate any input you have to offer!

Where you least expect it....
1. Personally haven't noticed a difference in flavor.

2. Yes but, you have to remember that it takes more power. For the higher ohm DCC to perform efficiently. In a 1.5ohm DCC there are two 3ohm coils in it. 5 ohms in a 2.5, etc.

3. Smoktech is the only brand that I've noticed that make DCC.

4. Depends, since XL single cartos are available. So, they are the same size in that aspect. The standard sized single coils are definitely shorter. The XXL single coils are a tiny bit longer then a DCC.

I haven't noticed a difference in flavor or even vapor production. I use LR Boge on my 3.7v device and loved them. Tried the Smoktech LR 1.5ohm Dual Coils and didn't like them, found the throat hit too harsh. Though I must add I don't like too much throat hit that's why I use 100%VG and with only an 8mg mix. Incidentally the 100%VG might be the reason I didn't notice much vapor difference between the Boge and the Dual Coils since 100%VG will produce huge amount of vapor anyways.

I use Smoktech LR dc cartos exclusively. I saw all the rave reviews about the Resurrectors, or single coil and thought I would give them a whirl. I didn't care for them. The vape was not warm enough for me, plus it seemed to mute the flavor and be to airy.

I think u should def give the dual coils a shot. They hit harder, are warmer, and have more flavor, IMO. The down side is they suck battery power, so don't use it on anything smaller than 450 mah, I think they say. Hopefully someone else can confirm. I also only vape with a vv device. Ymmv. Good luck to u!! :)

I've used the smoktech LR 1.5 dual's and didn't like them. Took an extra couple of seconds to get it really fired up. Also, you waste a lot of juice keeping them full. At first fill, good solid throat hit, but after a couple of times, the throat hit weakens and you have to dang near saturate the filling to get it back to that point, then the overfilling, leak problems. Just didn't care for them, on top of that, the first one I got, didn't even work. Much happier with the Eco-C model.
