If you don't use nicotine, don't start. Yes, 0 nic juices are available. There are safety concerns with high power (for giant clouds) gear, with which you should acquaint yourself before trying. Let my suggest a Innokin iTaste MVP 3.0 Pro for a good quality and safe mod. It goes up to 60 watts, which is higher than most people like. Pair this with a Kanger Sub tank or an Innokin iSub tank (you can get the latter bundled with the MVP as the "starter kit," retailing about $90) and you should get good cloud. The really big ones use dripper atomizers, but you have much to learn before you can safely build your own coils for them.

I don't know much about politics, what does this joke mean lol?
It means don't vote for Ds if you don't want vape gear and juice regulated out of existence. That's an explanation, not making a political recommendation. FWIW, though, I happen to agree.

Democrats want to ban flavors and they are quite aggressive about it. No, I am not a Republican. The lesser of two evils is still evil. Unfortunately, and I can't believe I'm saying this, our only hope is a Republican Senate which oversees the FDA. It's not my fault...

You mean they want to ban e cigs and juice or? Why would they ban vaping but not smoking lol?

Would you suggest the MVP 3.0 Pro over the Kanger Subox Mini Kit? I like the fit and finish of the Kanger better and it has the replaceable batteries unlike the MVP is the only reason I ask. Whats the battery life on each of them like before I have to charge again?

Well, you would be starting something that is going to have some negative consequences for your health. Far less than regular cigarettes, but still some. And without the need to get away from regular smokes, I am not sure why you would want to go there.

If its the flavours you could have some great chocolate/snacks whatever without the risks, some of which are hard to completely nail down at this point. As tasty as some of the juices are, you can find far tastier things. I don't really see the appeal of the clouds myself, since smoke was always just a side effect of getting the hit for me. This is even more true since you won't be taking nicotine, all you are getting in that case is flavors and the clouds.

I love vaping BUT I was a regular smoker for over a decade which makes a difference.

It is up to you of course. My 2 cents. :)

No, our only hope is if we get rid of ALL of the politicians from Washington because most of them are pure criminals no matter what side of the isle they are on. If any of us did what most of those corrupt politicians do we would be in jail forever. But, you are very correct about the demon-crats....er I mean democrats :) ( Socialism brought to you with a smile )

There is lots of great starter gear out there if you are looking to get into vaping. Most folks that I am familiar with though do not want to jump straight into cloud chasing. They sort of ween themselves into vaping because there are lots of safety issues when it comes to batteries, and nicotine etc.... If you decide to purchase a mod (box type or tube type) that has removable batteries, then you MUST make sure that you get batteries that are capable of supplying a large enough continuous current (in amperes).... If you fail to do so then the batteries can overheat and be a safety hazard (they can explode and go BOOM).... So, just look at the specs for the mod carefully and they will tell you how heavy duty of a battery you need to use. Of course, if you purchase a mod that contains a builtin battery then you don't have to worry about any of the things I just mentioned. The mods with builtin batteries are probably the safest for most new users but personally I don't like them because I don't like the idea of having to purchase an entire new mod when the battery eventually wears out (which doesn't take too long usually). Don't get me wrong though because there are some very good mods with builtin batteries on the market which are very bit as good and sometimes better than mods with removable batteries. But, you must remember, you can only recharge a mod with builtin batteries just so many times before they become completely useless and then you have to trash the entire mod a buy a brand new one.

Also, depending upon if you purchase a complete kit or buy the components seperately, you may have to look at the specs of the mod in order to see what resistance of coils you can use with the mod. This in turn will tell you what tank you can choose from to go with the mod. You cannot just purchase any ole tank and slap it onto any mod. Most regulated mods will only allow you to use coil resistances that only go down to a certain number and no lower. If you try to place lower rated coils onto the mod then the mod will not even function. Most decent websites will list the specs of tanks and you can see what resistance of coils the tanks allow you to use and then you can then look at the mod specs and see if the tank will work with your mod..... Of course, you can avoid all of that hassle by purchasing a starter kits that includes both the mod and the tank (such as the Kangertech Subbox starter kit, or many others)..... Hope this helps you if you do decide to start vaping........... Like others have said here repeatedly though, and I have to second, is that I see no need for you to get involved with nicotine if you are new to nicotine. You would be placing a ball and chain around yourself by getting addicted to nicotine. Trust be brother, nicotine (for me at least) is a very addictive substance plus people get addicted to it very quickly.... I see lots of folks mention how it is mostly the other chemicals in cigarettes that are more addicting than nicotine..... I personally do not agree with such statements. Yes, I do agree there are chemicals they add to enhance the addiction process but I am also fully aware that nicotine by itself is also very addictive. I have been addicted to it all of my life since I was a young kid (still am addicted) and so I know quite a bit about nicotine addiction. Anyway, whatever you decide to do it's your call and your business. I just am trying to help you and hope it doesn't sound too much like preaching because I am not. Like yourself, I love to blow large clouds and besides being addicted to nicotine that is one of the things that attracted me to regulated mods. So, personally I can understand your desire on that front.

Also, please, please if you are going to vape starting off with an under 0.5 ohm build without knowing ohms law and battery safety could get you really hurt. You can still get a lot of vapor off an atlantis at 0.5ohm and regulated mod.

Every day on fb i see folks doing super low builds then asking as an afterthought is it safe. Very silly.

    But the clouds...

Edit: But honestly why would you not recommend it?
Your motivation. You want to start using a vaporizer to get a "head rush" and "blow clouds." A personal vaporizer is not a party favor. If you do start vaping...and no doubt you will...do NOT use nicotine. Just my opinion.

I don't know how MJ and vaping compare but I would figure smoking MJ is worse for me. Idk something about the vapor that these things produce is awesome to me.

I should be fine if I just stick with a starter kit like the MVP 3.0 Pro or the Kanger Subox Mini kit right?

Lol, you weren't kidding about not knowing much about politics, were you? Ok, so let me explain. There are three big issues going on here. One, politicians love to regulate things because politics is about power and regulating things increases their power. They are particularly fond of regulating things they don't understand or that do not have politically powerful protectors and preferably both because they get in less trouble like that. This thread is about Democrats, but there is no shortage of pro-regulation types on the other side of the aisle. Democrats really are all about big government-- they have been since Tom Jefferson was alive-- but there's a lot of Rs who like to do it, too. Two, Big Tobacco has revenue to protect, and Big Tobacco is politically powerful by making campaign contributions, while vapers are not. BT doesn't like vaping because it gets people off tobacco. If a politician can increase their power by regulating something, and at the same time do a favor for a contributor by regulating their competition out of business, that's win/win for everybody except vapers. Three, the several states are desperate for tax revenue, and they currently get a lot of it from tobacco taxes; plus the states that grow tobacco-- the Old South, mostly-- want to protect their indigenous industry because it employs people. That's the forces trying to regulate or tax vaping.

As for the Kanger/Innokin question, I have nothing against the Sub Box. It's a decent piece of gear. I recommend the Innokin product because I think it is a better piece of gear; and because I think it is safer for somebody who is just starting out and doesn't understand the proper care and feeding of IMR batteries. It's also cheaper, when you add in the cost of a minimum of two 18650 batteries and a basic charger to the cost of the Sub Box.

You're sure welcome :) When I was getting into all of this I just searched google for terms like "vaping mods" or similar terms and you can usually start finding things pretty quick. I do all of my shopping online because I live FAR out in the wilderness (woods) and I have found that Amazon has lots of great vaping products at some pretty good prices. Most folks shop at fastech or other places online that deal with only vape related products but I have found all I need on Amazon and often times at lower prices not to forget that I often get stuff shipped to me from amazon very quickly (often times just a couple of days). The only problem with amazon is that since they sell about everything under the sun it is sometimes difficult to find certain items on their site. You have to type in the right keywords or you may not find what you are looking for even though they probably carry it.

One more thing to consider just in case you haven't already.............. Even though vaping "seems" harmless and juice is composed of just a few basic non-hazardous products, none of us actually know what the LONG-TERM effects of vaping may be. What we "assume" as harmless ingredients may not be harmless at all if used for a long time. No one really knows because vaping is in it's infancy and nobody has vaped for a long span of time. So, even if you use no nicotine juice (which is great!) then there still may be risks in the long term. Just something for you to ponder on before you decide to enter your vaping journey.

If you do decide to jump on board then just take your time and select your mods, or kits, very carefully. Just realize that you do NOT need some super huge wattage mod in order to blow large clouds. As a matter of fact, one of the biggest factors when it comes to large clouds is the tank or atomizer that you use. More airflow = bigger clouds ..... So, if you have even a fairly small wattage mod you can still blow some pretty good vapor provided that you have a tank that provides lots of airflow with little air resistance. I can blow huge clouds with my mod set to 40 watts. So, any mod that puts out between 40 - 60 watts is plenty big enough (in my opinion).

Lol, no I was not kidding. Thanks for the explanation instead of just making fun of my ignorance :). That's true about the subox so I will probably go with the Innokin. So right now if I were to buy the Innokin iTaste MVP 3.0 Pro Starter Kit, what would I have to replace? Just juice and coils or what?

Yeah I didn't even really know what to google at first. I wish there was an Innokin mvp 3.0 pro starter kit on amazon that has prime shipping (I love amazon primes free 2 day and like 3.99 one day shipping). I'm not looking to get in to competitions with my clouds like chasers, just a good sized cloud with some density.

Thanks for breaking this down so easily! Now I looked these up and just from looking at them, I liked the Kanger Subtank Mini, Kanger Subox Mini Black Starter Kit, and Innokin MVP 3.0 Pro. The iStick 50w isn't terrible but not my first choice. Which one of the three is best or does it matter?
kanger subox kit would be my recommendation - good starting point, user friendly and versatile

I see .... Well, in that case, then you really don't need a huge wattage mod. Yes, I really get off on Amazon shipping as it can be very quick at times. Of course, I probably should shop at online vape shops in order to support the vape shops but I really do like the service amazon provides.

I found an mvp 3 pro on amazon. It's not the cheapest but it would get there fast. Here is the link
Amazon.com: iTaste MVP 3.0 Pro 60 watts 4500 mAh variable wattage & voltage (up tp 9.0 volts) minimum resistance 0.2 mhm: Health & Personal Care
