I do know that Aspire does a
through cleaning of all their stuff prior to packaging and shipping. But I personally do wash things prior to first use (just for peace of mind).
A quick way to dry things out is use a toaster oven on the LOWESET setting possible. Even then you might have to leave the door cracked open just a bit and check on the parts FREQUENTLY (every 5 minutes or so). When possible remove the silicone gaskets prior to putting the other parts in the oven.
The other trick is to use a hair dryer on high. Actually this is the safest way to dry things quickly.
One thing that I also do after doing a full cleaning and drying is to take some mineral oil and lubricate the air flow adjustment ring.
