I had a goal to make my own dna-mod, i did and am happy I finished it. BUT probably the last time modding.
It took 10+ days of research and 2 days of jelling and cursing and soldering. It was more difficult than I had aspected.

Yeah, I need to be in the right mood for soldering. Somehow I enjoy the exercise in patience for the rest though.

And.. 1 Hammond box VV similar to my "Speed Stik" and another Vamo version of the Hammond box...
But.. Here's my 14500 copper mech mod



Soldered eVod base in the end of a 1/2 in copper tube


Using an eGo/510 adapter with a screw to reach past the eVod base
Copper rings to hold things in place and a 1/2 in concho (Chicago screw) and a couple of springs from an old defunct DVD player.
I have magnets coming to replace the springs.

Just finished my Raptor Box Mod

Batteries are series, I channeled out the back of the battery tray and ran the wires such that both batteries were still positive side up. Fuse is soldered directly to the battery terminal then a solder bridge to the switch. Black paint on side was not planned, the mod slipped in the vise while I was trying to drill out the hole for the LCD screen and messed up the paint.
