I just thought that since so many MV users are happily builing mods from MV kits that it was time for a thread to show off. I will kick it off with my newest creation. Feel free to post you newest builds!

The WiiGo
Wii candy dispenser! I used a top cap from a fried ST eGo, all other parts are from a MV box kit. Still trying to figure out how to make the button better.

I have a few more of these so I will likely build a couple more.

My 3.7 MV box - Put it together about a week ago... love it! Hits like a beast with High drain 14500/1.5 ohm LR 510 atty. I used the .5a switch, 3mm blue LED, and a piece of a 16g needle for feeding. Drilled a hole in 3ml bottle cap and used JB weld to secure a small piece of flexible tubing there... haven't had one drop of juice leak into the box. Over squonked a few times to get some overflow on top though. It's definitely something you have to get a feel for. So my volt is mostly parked for now, on standby for specific outings ;)

Thanks MoD(no pun intended) Not sure if this is what you were looking for; I popped out the center of the 510 connector, and soldered the piece of needle along with the pos. wire in there... was tight fit, and took some fiddling to get the wire along side the needle, but worked well as just a little solder sealed the hole nicely. Then reinserted the center pole into 510 connector.

If your question is about the silicone tubing... I just drilled a small hole(go smaller if you try this... I buggered the first cap) in the 3ml bottle cap, smaller than needed to fit tubing in, then widdled it to size with a nail. Cut a piece of tubing longer than I needed(about .5"), inserted into cap hole, and secured it with JB weld. That also took some fiddling to get the tube just barely into the cap hole. No way I could have done this without JD Weld, what great stuff! ...then just trimmed to fit needle. I also cut silicone tubing to go inside a few 3ml bottles... no fiddlin there, dripper tip has prong inside, it slides on nice and tight... so i just have to use this cap, but can have several filled bottles standing by. Hope this helped. :)

edit; (16g lure lock from madvapes, snipped w/ wire cutters. Had to open the crimped/cut end with pliers... that's why it looks square on the inside end in the previous post pic)

Helping hands are a must...I have one on the soldering bench and one at assembly area. Just cheap ones from itt (Illinois tool). although it seems you took the magnifier off (or I just have a very cheap "deluxe" model :) )

The needle bit was the part I was wondering about. Thanks a ton, I will have to give that a shot with the next round. My next will mod will have the button as the d-pad and I think I will try to make the A button a squonk button...

... also wanted to add... couldn't have assembled this without Mr. Helping Hands :D
