Sick of wasting cartos 901 atomizer needed?

I'm sick of filling up cartos with juice that turns out to be nasty.
If I understand correctly I can put a 901 atomizer on my kr808d-1 batts and direct drip/dip?
I'm still searching the forums on this but would love to hear from someone who actually does this.
I plan to still use cartos for juices I know I like. I'd use the atomizer for stuff I'm just trying out.

if you wanted to save some money and have the patience to do this u could YouTube - from carto to atty seems allot cheaper then buying the 901 attys, could probably find a better video on it this one wasnt the best

You can take the filler out of a kr808 carto & use it to drip. Best to use a manual battery for this though.

Do you have to wash/clean the atomizers before switching juice?

I bought a 901 atomizer so I could try out flavors too. But I haven't taken the time to figure out how to clean the thing. So the previous juice lingers and mixes with the next one. I should have just used my old cartos, for some reason I wanted to try out an atty.

I managed to get 1 carto apart with out destroying it. Works nicely
Trashed the other 2.

You can get battery adapters to use 510 stuff as well as many other types.
That opens up a few more options.

I do like the CE2 type cartos somewhere from 2.4 - 2.8 ohms with my KR808D-1 batteries. Still a carto...not yet 'perfect' but worth a try as it's a wick system without filler...a major step closer to dripping with carto convenience. The 510 threaded ones are more common...so I just use an adapter. Since I like to abuse my little KR808D-1 stuff with pretty rough treatment, I usually opt for the smaller CE2 size that holds .9ml with the metal casing for on the go set-ups. It does take a syringe or needle-tip bottle to fill these.

I used tweezers but it really helps when the filler is wet. I tried it on a carto that I had just "burnt" out, was still wet, and it came out really easily. Maybe trying to add a few drops of water to the filler will help.

tweezers work fine for me, i just thin ones out of a swiss army knife n kinda push it threw the outside edges to loosen the polyfill away from the outside then slowly pull it out with tweezers
