mine is the same same.I do get a few other quirks also.I take a vape at say 3.5 volts and the next one is at 5+ volts.I also get no OLED light then it appears again magically.I'm tryin to find a way to get inside the head to clean it.I am sure my dropping it and the cartos filling it with juice didn't help much.I probably have two days worth of juice in it.I did put a #60 O ring in it after the fact.Cured the 510 contact to carto problem.Wish there was a way to open it up to get inside,probably press fit.If I figure it out and find a fix for the button I'll get back here.Just started thinkin on it tonight.I do have a new SID so I'll experiment with the older one

Seems these are kinda flaky in general then.
Too bad, it has potential.
I got this because of the issues with other units I saw in reviews. This one, didn't find any.

Live and learn.
This hobby needs to have a 'Zippo'. Nothing fancy, just work under all conditions.

maybe (head and shoulders) helps with the flaky, but you could try a zippo
