Curious: How do you normally hold and fire your MVP 2?

I just got mine today and I love it, but I do have one issue... The fire button is a lot harder to press than I'm used to, and I have some regular pain and stiffness in the thumb of my left hand, so I'm trying various methods of using the MVP left handed (since I'm usually vaping while computing, and using my right hand for the mouse). Holding with the button facing outward and pressing with my index finger feels very awkward; holding with the button facing me and pressing with the pad of my thumb is a bit painful. Holding it with the button facing to the right (and the display section facing me) and pressing the fire button with the side of the knuckle on my thumb seems about the best right now, but becomes tiring after a while and I have to give it a rest.

With my stronger right hand (and no pain problems with my right thumb) it's a lot more comfortable (though I wouldn't say ideal) -- but that limits me to when I'm not on the computer... or a whole lotta picking up and putting down. I'd love it if the fire button were on the side or top!

Soooo, how do you guys hold and use yours, especially if you need to use your less favored hand?

I believe there is nothing written about how to hold a mod while vaping and certainly no etiquette rules, so I just hold it anyway I feel comfortable doesn't matter how weird it can look. I usually push the button with my thumb or index finger, or the middle if I am using a mechanical. Some atomizers like the genesis type require you to tilt the mod while vaping to keep the wicks wet.
Just do it anyway you feel comfortable and find a mod that works for you. the "just GG" mod and smok "natural" mechanical mods among others have side fire buttons.

In my left hand, button up and press with left index finger. I had carpal tunnel surgery last fall and this is the most comfortable for me.

I usually hold it in either hand with the button under my index finger.

Like shaking hands or holding a tennis racquet.
