Smoktech Sid Problems

My husband purchased a Sid as a gift for me, but I am having problems with it after about 2 weeks of use. When I press the fire button (only once) and take a "drag", the Sid will change menu functions on me. Ie: I will have the unit set at 6.5watts, and it will change to 8 watts by itself. Also, I get a "short" reading often. I have no idea what could be causing this. Any ideas??

I get the short reading a few times per day also. I just release the button and fire it again immediately and it works. Doesnt bother me.

As for the menu-changing functions, not sure. It seems to be jumping into the "adjust wattage mode"

i contacted the company my husband purchased it from, and they are replacing it for me. seems i got a defective product I am very happy with their customer service though. Getting a replacement was way more than what i expected!

Mine does this on occasion, I sent it in to be replaced and they sent me the same unit right back. It mainly sits as a backup as I like a heavier mod, so it isn't a big deal and rarely happens since I only use it a few times per week.
