So the entire is build on a one of a kind thread carto that uses filler? Filler doesn't seem like a giant leap forward and an "all day battery" PV are a dime a dozen. Can't see the upside of buying an entire kit to try a new improved carto.

It is the carto design with the horiz bottom coil and the filler that makes it vape so well plus the airflow I think has alot to do with it. I was strickly an atty vaper being as I never found a carto that didn't burn, leak or wick poorly until I tried the Go-Go. It just works, I'm getting 15-20 refills before they need cleaning about 10 days on each 3.00 carto. They vape consistantly and I havent had one dry hit or burnt taste, none have leaked a drop, they hold around 100 drops and about 80 on refills. I'm not using as much juice down from 6-8 ml to 4-5 a day. I'm retired and vape pretty steady for 17 hours a day and have tried alot of different PVs in the 16 months I've been vaping but nothing has worked like the Go-Go. I didn't want to go for a proprietary set-up either and waited from Dec until Feb seeing how others liked them before I finally gave in and bought one in the meantime I bought another ego t and riva kit tried the giantomizers all for naught. The only problem with the Go-Go is only two suppliers carry them so it can be difficult to get one. Almost everyone that buys one immediately buy a second one.

OK, agreed, it's a new improved carto, available in one resistance, and vapable at one voltage (a go-go battery). I find different flavors are much better at different temperatures, different wattage. Different PG/VG ratios are also better vaped at different wattage, guess the go-go is fine if one size fits all. Available in any color you want as long as it's black.....

Ya know, I started vaping to quit smoking, not to become an electrician. The Darwin is extremely expensive compared to the Go Go. Now granted, certain flavors may taste better at certain voltages and/or ohms or balanced on the head of chipmunk standing in a forest atop a smokey mountain perhaps. The fact remains though, that the Go-Go does provide a great vaping experience without having to be an electrician or go out and spend a couple hundred bucks for a PV with a built in volt meter. So I will stick with my Go-Go because I enjoy it until I am free from nicotine and able to put down the PV as well should I get to that point.

I can't really ague with anything here. The Darwin is one of the ultimate PVs for vapers looking to get the utmost flavor from their liquids, and from what I can tell it is a finely made machine that does just that. The Buzz and the Provari also have great reputations that I'm sure are well deserved. The GoGo is for those who don't want to spend any more time thinking about vaping then they did about smoking. It's cheap, effective at what it does, and it lasts all day with almost no maintenance.
And yes, it is utilitarian in appearance, many of the LR Cartos aren't really LR (but they do exist), they don't come with a whistle tip, and general build quality is acceptable -- but not in the same league as a Darwin. And it's proprietary. Some of these issues are in the process of being worked out (adapters, etc.), others will have to be lived with.
But it really does perform it's admittedly basic function quite well, and at the right price.

Other well-performing giant cartomizers may kill off the GoGo, as it seems we are experiencing a wave of these, or maybe the tanks and clearomizer type systems will become more simple, reliable, and capacious. If this occurs I still won't be sorry I purchased one. It will always remain cheap, effective, and simple.

Excellent post and thankful for it. The gogo will never give you the best hit possible with the latest technology. But what it will do really well is replace a pack of cigrettes with a good flavor, good vapor and a good th. It's surprising that for a lot of people, thats all they really want out of vaping.

I didn't find all that many differences, at least better ones, at alot of different voltages myself. I found out anything over 5 volts taste bad and everything from 4.5 to 3.5 were pretty close to the same for me. I personaly prefer the Go-Go over the Buzz but that is just me. It is much less hassle and looks better but this thread wasn't intended I don't think to compare the Go-Go or any other fat bat to the VV mods although I would take it over most if not all of them because of its cartomizer. You can't use it on any other PV. There are others coming out with the same type of carto design and some of them may match it or surpass it but right now it is the best I've tried. They do by the way have a LR Go-carto. I have some but haven't felt the need to even try them yet.

Are there adapters that allow you to use the Go-Go cartomizer on other PV's? It sounds like a better designed carto and would like to try it out. I just wouldn't want the weak TH on a 3.2 - 3.7 volt battery.

Sorry, no adaptors yet. Cigeasy is working on some adaptors now and they should be ready soon. I understand they will be 808-1d to gogo and gogo cartos to 808-1d. You're right, it would be nice to use the gogo carto on other systems.

Exactly a BetaMax carto that you have to buy a kit to use. I don't own a Darwin or other VV mod, no need to, I can pick and choose the correct resistance atty or carto to match whatever (of various) voltage sources I use. It's rather simple, buy the carto or atty that works the best at whatever voltage you're using.

This is an excellent point, Nate. I do admire those who spend countless hours (and dollars) tinkering and tweaking in search of the holy grail. I also appreciate how those folks share their experiences with us. But like many here, I just want something reasonably affordable that *works*.

Of course, a 3-day non-stop PV with an integrated cell phone & mp3 player would be mighty nice.

JJ :)

That is very well put JJ, I have to apologize to stosh as that last post did sound a bit crass. I do appreciate the work that the modders put into their craft. I have to assume that without the work they put in..... Manufacturers would not be where they are as far as advancing the performance and reliability of the lower cost units such as the Go-Go and eGo-T models that I love so much. Personally however I am in the Navy and I cannot afford to just toss a few hundred bucks out there towards a really high end vaporizer like some of these guys and gals can. Yes I would love to have something with a variable voltage and built in multimeter to regulate everything for me. That would be incredible. But I just cannot afford one. And as I am trying to quite putting things in my lungs all together, where will that high end unit end up when I am done for good? In a drawer with the rest of my lower price units standing by in case I run into that well known "Trigger" that most smokers who try to quit run into eventually.

Nate

P.S. An MP3 Player/Smart Phone/Vaporizer would be THE HOLY GRAIL of vaping :D

... As long as there's a Blu-ray/DVD player somewhere in the mix ... I'll buy one. Simple stereo will do. I don't need surround sound. That'd be crazy.
