Every time I try to go to the site for the sig generator I get a dns look up error. is ant one else have this prob? Or is it that I don't have enough post or what?

You certainly have enough posts. It siunds like you really do have a DNS problem but there could be several causes. What is your operating system, -- browser? How are you connected to the Internat?

I have a mac pro running snow leopard, firefox browser and have hughes net satellite internet

Well, first let me say how sorry I am about the Hughes Net.

As for the Mac I can tell you how to do this but you need to try to set a manual DNS address in your Internet configuration. Use the following 2 sets of numbers.

208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

Let me know if this solves your problem

This may also help.

Flush DNS in Mac OSX

In Mac OSX Leopard, you can use the command dscacheutil -flushcache to flush the DNS resolver cache:
bash-2.05a$ dscacheutil -flushcache

In Mac OSX versions 10.5.1 and before, the command lookupd -flushcache performed the same task:
bash-2.05a$ lookupd -flushcache
